Calling All Sistahs May Reminder

Hello There,

I am here today as part of the Calling All Sistahs design team, to help raise awareness of Breast Cancer and the importance of doing that monthly self breast exam. It takes 5 mins-check out how to do that here.

Michele, owner and designer of CAS-ual Friday Stamps designed a special line of stamps and dies to help raise awareness of Breast Cancer-you can check them out here. Michele donates 50% of the profit from these to National Breast Cancer Awareness.

The sentiment I have used here is from the Calling All Sistahs range at CAS-ual Fridays-the Supercalifragilistic set-check it out, it is a lot if fun!

Hi All

I am going Butterflies again today. To be honest the last 2 days I have posted Butterly cards that I was making for the Twofer Card Challenge and when I came to post them there, realised that I was meant to be using the same stamp set.....my memory is really getting bad!

Anyway this card was inspired by a few challenges out there are the moment.

The one big butterfly is from Happy Little Stampers and all the rest of the buttelies and the sentiment are from various Verve stamp sets-if you want to know the exact sets please just leave me a comment here and I will email you x

A happy new week to all!

Popping in with a card inspired by a few challenges:

I just did some simple water colouring for my background. So you could see how delicate and pretty this looked added this lovely open butterfly die from Concord and 9th. And a tiny sentiment from STAMPlorations.

I will enter this into:

Less is More-yellow, blue and grey-when I first saw this combo I thought I wouldn't enter as I didn't really like it but suddenly this idea came into my head and it worked for me-so thank you for challenging me guys!

Time Out #109

Hi There,

Time for new challenge at Time Out Challenges.
It is our 'Inspired by Words' challenge.

First off my card:

You can any of these words to inspire you or the whole phrase.

I went with 'flower' and 'friends'...I know, pretty obvious!

STAMPlorations are sponsoring this challenge and here I have used their stamp set Happy Sunflower. I heat embossed this stamp in turquoise and then did some water colouring.

I don't usually make square cards and don't know why I really did here, it just seemed right at the time!

My Courageous Friend

Hi All

Here is a card I made for my very Best Friend who is going through the toughest time I can imagine. Yet she has an inner strength and is the most courageous person I know.

I used the fabulous Go Wild stamp set from Happy Little Stamper.

The striped paper is from a pack Marina sent me-thank you Marina.

Hi There,

This week teamie at Inkspirational Shauna has chosen the challenge and to my delight she challenges us to use the colours:

Purple and Gold

Well this has to be the easiest challenge Shauna has set for me at Inkspirational to date. She usually has me printing on designer paper or something way out of my comfort zone! So thank you Shauna for going a bit easier on me this time!

All of these butterflies and sentiments are from the STAMPlorations set 'Trendy Butterflies 2'. I have used 2 different shades of Catherine Pooler Inks.
