Inkspirational #187

Hi All

A new challenge starts at Inkspirational today and Marlena has chosen:

'Gold Dipped'

I had fun making this card. I used the same stamp 'celebrate artsy' from STAMPlorations and stamped in onto the card with 3 different colour inks from Catherine Pooler. Then I used delicata gold ink of some card just stamping if different areas so when I cut the die from Winnie and Walter it would look like just the edges had been dipped in gold! Added the die onto fun foam for dimension.

Now lets see what the team have for us for here

I will enter this into:

AAA Cards-use one 3rd and optional bright colours-I went with the twist.

CASology-Color-not much else here except white spaces and splashes of colour!

Hi All

A card for you today inspired by a few challenges:

I used Floral Frame Stamp and Die set from Altenew.

White embossed the flower on vellum and die cut it. Die cut just one of the leaves.

Arranged it all on eggshell embossed card (although hard to see in the photo-raining here!) and stitched dies.

The sentiment is from the same set.

Entering into:

Just Add Ink-well these flowers in this photo are where the initial idea came from!

Can you see it!!

Hi All

I made this card for my Dad who has just been in hospital having eye cataracts surgery.

This is a test for him to see if he can read it...can you??

My Dad's smile sure does make my world brighter!

This idea popped into my head when I saw the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch-just flipped the sketch and done!

I will also enter it into Addicted to CAS-contrast...black and white are pretty good contrasts!

Mums!

Hi All

Popping in with a card for a few challenges.

It is not Mother's Day in Britain this week (our's was in March!), but isn't this sentiment true all year round??

I know it is for my Mum-she is the one that holds us all together and I am thankful everyday for her.

Card was initially inspired by CASology-Mothers.

I knew I wanted to use this sentiment and stamp but needed some colours. After a hunt I found a combo I liked at CAS Colour and Sketches-I hunted high and low for a darker green button but this was all I could find but I do like the pretty flower pattern on it, which I thought suited the card!

The flower image is from Visible Image and the sentiment is from Verve which unfortunately  is now closed.

Time Out #134 Reminder

Here is my card for the latest challenge at Time Out

I made this because we are challenging you to be:

Here I have used our super sponsor Winnie and Walter die In A Word-Cuddles Cutaway I cut this is grey fun foam and topped with the grey card. 

The stamp her is Chubby Unicorns from Funky Fossil Designs-I just stamped these and did some selective grey colouring. 

Our amazing Guest Designer Nancy is joining us again this week. Check out her fun and creative card at Time Out-where you will see some more playful cards from the 'playful' Design Team!

I kept this card all neutral colours to fit in with the Colour Challenge at Winnie and Walter
