CASology #375

Hi Crafty Friends,

Time for a new challenge at CASology
And here is our cue word:

And my take:

This cue word made me think of spices we add to food-and these can be hot and smokin'!
And also along the lines of 'hot'....we all still have 'hot bodies'...right??
Also I was thinking along the lines of saying something 'spicy' and thought this sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps covered both my ideas!

Our sponsors for this challenge are Your Next Stamp

Our Guest Designer is the amazing Galina-please pop on over to her blog and she how fabulous a designer she is!

So what does 'Spice' say to you??

Pop on over to CASology to see what the DT have created for you and then join on in!

Our Design Team are all worth a visit and some love-here they are;

Enjoy!

Cheers!

 Cheers to you All!

Have a cheerful day!

This is off to:

Less is More-one layer and cheers!
AAA Cards-one layer but this time option of 'coffee' not taken.

And More!

Hi All

Been making my last few Diwali cards.

The photo at The Card Concept inspired me both for the colours and design-I thought the top image looked like the leaves and loved all the patterns so used the outer circle for this. These stamps are from Catherine Pooler Designs.

Enjoy your day x

I will enter this into:

The sentiment is Coffee and Wine

First up using a stencil from Funky Fossil Designs and the colours from Just Us Girl -green, blue and pink

I dry embossed the stencil area to add more texture.

And my second card is another version of the card I posted yesterday but using a different colour base that is egg shell embossed but it is the same die and stamp from Erin Lee Creative

I will enter this into Less is More-shades of purple (sorry DT but choose purple and you must have known I would be here!!)

 Hi Crafty Friends,

I have used Erin Lee Creative Indian stamp but this time also used the die.
I heat embossed the image and die cut and then coloured in with various purples.

Loved how it turned out.
I made another one of these but used different colours and texture...will be back to show you another day!.

I will enter:
Less is More-shades of purple
AAA Cards-use a third.

Purple!

 Hi All

I have not been around much and not been visiting blogs-hope to be soon.

I am making my cards for my friends who celebrate Diwali which is Nov 14th this year.

With the post as it is, at the moment, I thought I had better get a move on!

I made a super quick CAS card using Erin Creative Indian stamp set.

I used 2 different purples here. What took me the longest was deciding where to put the baby gem!

I am in the process of making 2 more so hoping to share these soon!

I will enter these into:

Less is More-shades of purple (naturally had to enter!!)
AAA Cards-us a third-I didn't use the option of woodland Animals.

Have a good day x

Time Out #170

Hi All

Time for a new challenge at Time Out

And here it is:

Here is my take:

I think this guy is 'adventurous' to try this! I would love to do this but have never had the chance and think it would take years to do but wow I have a feeling it would be worth it!

Our sponsors for this challenge are Funky Fossil Designs and I have used their Surfer Stencil and Mask.
I just added some sparkly embossing to the waves.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the wonderfully creative Conil. I love her cards and have been a fan for many years plus she can be seen playing at Time Out every challenge and it is always a joy to see how she interprets each challenge. Pop on over to her blog Which Craft? and you will see why I am a fan!
Welcome Conil!

Now time to take some Time Out and join in the fun.
Get some inspiration from Conil and our super Design Team by popping over to Time Out
 Enjoy!

Inkspirational

Hi All

Popping in with a card I made for Inkspirational.
As soon as I saw this photo I loved it and below I have explained why.
First off I created this:

And here is the photo:

I was struck by all the wood in the photo and here are the points that inspired me:

-The wood-hence the use of kraft.
-the spikey chair-I used my leave dies for this and the wonky die frame
-the black and white of the floor-I used the striped stamp for this
-the glass of the vase on the table-this is why I added vellum.

I was going to add a sentiment but thought the card had plenty on it and the sentiment would have to go inside.
I like this as it could be used for a guy or gal!

Kind of a lot on this but I love how it turned out.

Have a good day x

New Beginnings!

Hi All

When I saw the photo at Fusion I knew exactly what I wanted to make.
My niece is moving into her first home so the photo was the perfect inspiration I needed.

I found some previously water coloured card and heat embossed this sweet house from STAMPlorations in turquoise popped it up on linen embossed card. Found the perfect sentiment to match.
I used the sketch also for my design.

Have a great weekend x
