I woke up at 3.30am and couldn't get back to sleep. After tossing and turning for a while I decided to get up and make a cup of tea. Then after browsing blogland decided to try to finish the card I started over weekend. Everything I tried with my card at the weekend didn't work but this morning this went a bit better but not as well as I would have liked. I just couldn't get the stamping quite right.
However I decided to share it with you and next time you can't sleep because your mind won't rest-give crafting a go (I am sure many of you do this anyway but this is a first for me!)
I have had this gorgeous stamping up paper for a while now and decided to follow the pattern into my focal point by using this leaf stamp from paper smooches.
And here is the inside of the card:
I am going to enter this into the Black, White and splash of one other colour at Cas-ual Fridays and Scrappers Delights.

Good morning Sandie. I hope you're not too tired after crafting in the night! This is lovely - I love the way the branches are sort of peeping into view and I like the way you've changed colour inside.
ReplyDeleteI'm supposed to be getting ready for work but I'm procrastinating. As it's half term (I work in a college),it's an admin day today ; my fingers are still inky from the weekend and I'd much rather be crafting!
