I am not a fan of making tags so decided to take a different approach to this code word. When I was young (many, many moons ago!) we used to play 'tag'....a run and chase game where if you are 'it' you have to run around and catch someone else, 'tag' them and they are 'it'. I wasn't sure if in every country you play this or it is known by the same name? With all the 'tagging' blog hops going on at the moment I thought you would get the idea.
The children playing tag here are cut out from using a silhouette cutting machine (thanks to Marina who did this for me when I had a crafting play date with her). It took me ages to come up with a sentiment to match my image. I did some stamp surgery on the 'city scene' sentiment set from PTI to come up with this one.

ReplyDeleteWe still play tag here and its just as fun as when I was little. Its one of those games that never seems to change and thank goodness there doesn't seem to be a computer version of it (so far.....). Brilliant idea for your card and just love the images of all those kiddies running. I bet if you could see their faces they would have smiles plastered all over them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever take on the codeword... in fact, it's GENIUS!!! This truly is a fun card, Sandie. We call tag "apanhada" which translates into "you're caught". Peanut and Richard Parker play it everyday all the time! LOL

ReplyDeleteBrilliant take on 'tag', Sandie! I've been playing tag with my niece and nephew this weekend (inside, though, as it's frosty winter weather here!). Their little legs sure do run a lot faster than my big lumbering limbs! Too much fun! Your card: fabulous!
