Addicted to CAS #51

How about you welcome in November by joining in our challenge at Addicted to CAS?

Our hostess for this challenge is the very creative and inspiring crafter Vicki and she has chosen the following code word:

Here is my take:

I am not a fan of making tags so decided to take a different approach to this code word. When I was young (many, many moons ago!) we used to play 'tag'....a run and chase game where if you are 'it' you have to run around and catch someone else, 'tag' them and they are 'it'. I wasn't sure if in every country you play this or it is known by the same name? With all the 'tagging' blog hops going on at the moment I thought you would get the idea.

The children playing tag here are cut out from using a silhouette cutting machine (thanks to Marina who did this for me when I had a crafting play date with her). It took me ages to come up with a sentiment to match my image. I did some stamp surgery on the 'city scene' sentiment set from PTI to come up with this one.

This month we have Linda joining us as our Guest Designer. Check out here inspiring blog here .Then see what she and the DT have created here to inspire you this week.

Sponsoring us this week is Stamp Art Designs, their digis are wonderful and you could win some by joining in with us at Addicted to CAS

So what do you call 'tag' where you live???

Have fun!

  1. A clever twist on the code word, Sandie! The cut silhouettes look so striking and your sentiment is really clever - love it. My boys play tag so it is definitely still around :)

  18. We still play tag here and its just as fun as when I was little. Its one of those games that never seems to change and thank goodness there doesn't seem to be a computer version of it (so far.....). Brilliant idea for your card and just love the images of all those kiddies running. I bet if you could see their faces they would have smiles plastered all over them!

  19. What a clever take on the codeword... in fact, it's GENIUS!!! This truly is a fun card, Sandie. We call tag "apanhada" which translates into "you're caught". Peanut and Richard Parker play it everyday all the time! LOL

  20. You are so fun, Sandie! This is a brilliant and unique take on the "tag" word, especially this time of year when our thoughts run to Christmas tags! There were seven kids in my family, so, oh, yes, there were lots and lots of games of tag, perfectly depicted on your awesome card!! Hugs, Darnell

  24. Brilliant take on 'tag', Sandie! I've been playing tag with my niece and nephew this weekend (inside, though, as it's frosty winter weather here!). Their little legs sure do run a lot faster than my big lumbering limbs! Too much fun! Your card: fabulous!
