Time to take TIME OUT and join in our 'Theme' challenge at Time Out Challenges.
Our theme this week is one of my favourites:
Grunge with the optional twist of embossing.

Stamplorations are sponsoring us this week so I have used their stamps. The sentiment is from the Bold Sentiments-Hello and the grunge strip is from the Celebrate Artsy set-I have heat embossed this. The sentiment is fussy cut and popped up on a foam pad.
I gave this card to my hubby as a few weeks ago as he ran a half marathon for charity and beat his personal best time by 5 mins. He was over the moon and I was so proud. He loved this card and it is still proudly displayed on our mantle piece!
We are joined today by a fabulous and very creative Guest Designer, Ksenija. Her blog, sweet kobylkin, is a joy to visit. Take a peek and you will come back inspired to create!
Check out what out DT have created to inspire you to join us-here-plus you will see what Stamplorations goodies you could win!
I will enter this card into the 'embossing' challenge at Just Us Girls and the Anything Goes at STAMPlorations
Have fun x
Sandie, thank you for inviting me as GD. Your card is stunning, so clean and elegant. My congratulations to your hubby, marathon runners for me are heroes
ReplyDeleteSo cool, Sandie ... that splash of texture-y red against the bold black is so dramatic ... not surprised it's still on the mantle! Congratulations to your DH ... what an achievement! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThe one rounded corner is very effectful. And this design is equally perfect for a man or woman, or a teenager too, the trickiest age group to create for in my opinion. Cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous men's card, Sandie! Perfect for the challenge. Congrats to your husband.
