Hi All,
We have a fun challenge for you at AAA cards. This time we would like to 'Clean and Simple' water colouring.
Here is my card:
All I have done here is die cut this butterfly out of some water colour card that I had previously used. It had been heat embossed in white then I had water coloured. It was one of those times you have what you think is a good idea but it turns out all wrong! But I didn't throw it away and am pleased I didn't as I really like how it looks die cut.
This challenge is sponsored by Happy Little Stampers with a $20 gift voucher up for grabs!
Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Tracey. Her blog In My Creative Opinion is a joy to visit and full of inspiring projects.
Take a look here to see what Tracey and our DT have created for you.
I will enter this into the 'CAS' challenge at CASology-happy 200th challenge!
I will also enter this into CAS Mix UP Challenge-my choice is water colouring and heat embossing.
Enjoy!
Lovely CAS Sandie, I am seeing this butterfly a lot nowadays, which die is it?

ReplyDeleteGorgeous butterfly Sandie! Love how you rounded the corner too. Thanks for playing along at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteHi Sadie. I hope you are getting better with each day. I just got this butterfly, and you have now inspired me to take it out and use it TODAY. I love it when you put something aside that didn't work out quite the way you wanted it to, and you repurpose it for something wonderful. The magenta and yellow are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI should do what you do, save something that I think hasn't worked out, I always get angry and throw everything to bin! This looks great, I really like the colors! xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Sandie. That butterfly is so beautiful and delicate. Love the layers on the wings. And thank goodness you held onto that watercoloured and embossed piece, because it looks like you made it special for this card. Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
ReplyDeleteThe butterfly looks gorgeous! I've got some failed brusho and ink background in my stash, thanks for giving me an idea for how to use these!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry my visits have been a bit irregular lately, MIL was here 5 nights from mid May, the following weekend my parents spent with us in Oslo and have just now completed a trip to celebrate hubby's sisters' (twins) 50th birthday. 1000 km driving in two days. Weekdays spent at work and outdoors. Soon going on holiday, but things will get back to normal again in July:) I'll be around as much as I can for the rest of this month. And I'll make sure I get to go to the post office soon, your birthday card, I'm ashamed to say, is still with me, but prepared to be sent off.
I LOVE this butterfly, Sandie! The colors and pattern are gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
