Honey I Shrunk The Kit-Heartfelt

Hello All

The Honey babes are back with 'Honey I shrunk the Kit'  virtual reality crafting session.

Here is a list of the Honey Babes and the links to their blogs:

Anita-our new Babe-welcome Anita
Hazel
Sarah Gray
Sarah Platt
Shona

This time Sarah G made up our kit of goodies and named it:

Heartfelt

You can see a photo and product list of all these goodies at the bottom of the post.

I just loved all these goodies and got to crafting as soon as it arrived.

Here are the cards I made:

Card 1-I used this gorgeous funky heart die matched with a few tiny hearts. The main panel is textured and the sentiment is from STAMPlorations

Card 2-I used the die and hearts from the pack. The wooden peg is from a pack my Mum gave me for Xmas-I just added a little heart die from the pack and covered it all in WOS. This went to hubby for Valentine's-he loved it. Aren't those pegs fab, I will be using these more-thanks Mum

I will enter this card into:

Addicted to CAS-wood-my little wooden peg from Mum fits this perfectly!

Card 3-very unusual to see a shaker card from me as I find them so hard to make but this was so much fun-all goodies from the pack with the sentiment from Verve

Card 4-yes a doily! Another unusual element to see in my cards but I love the end result. I actually managed to make it CAS. I cut the hear die from glitter fun foam and the sentiment is from Happy Little Stamper

Here is the pack Sarah sent us:

Products in this pack-a range of images including Mama Elephant, Winnie & Walter, Paper Smooches and Neat and Tangled. The die cuts are from Simon Says Stamp, Avery Elle and Tonic.

I had so much fun with this pack and still have so many goodies left. A huge thank you to Sarah xx

All the Honey Babes had the same products to play with. I haven't seen what they have made but am very excited to visit each of their blogs-why not do the same-the list is at the top of this post.

Have a fun day x

  1. Many unusual elements and techniques for you in this post, but you managed to give them all a touch of Sandie. I especially love the shaker one, it has never occurred to me the shaker frame could be placed over the edge of the card base! I've made a note to myself about this...

  6. Well, well you certainly jumped out of your comfort-zone with this kit and look at all these amazing cards!! Love your clean red/white combo on your first card, that big heart die is so cool. No wonder hubby loved his Valentines card, love the red tag and the peg is oh so cute. A shaker?? Go you, its brilliant!! And I can't believe you used the doily, I had no idea what to do with mine. It looks fantastic as a background and love the red glittery hearts on top. You totally rocked this kit. 8. Thanks for the welcome, Sandie. And wow, as the queen of one layer cards you've done brilliantly here, still so beautifully CAS. I love the textured card you've used on these and the slim hint of pink on the first one is great. I think your second is my fave, LOVE that tag, and how funny that we both used pegs in in addition! Your off the edge shaker is awesome and I love the red sparkle with the doily, fantastic combo xx

  14. Sorry I'm so late... still shrugging that bug...! Anyway, this set of cards makes me feel much better!! WOW! You totally rocked this, Sandie with a multitude of different styles, no less! Adore the simplicity and pop of the first card and that pegged tag card packs a lovable punch. I adore that shaker card, especially how the heart peeps over the top of the card. I came so close to making a shaker myself with those elements - we must have been sending each other vibes.;-) And finally, that offset doily with its glittery heart is girly in all the right ways! What a lot of love! Now to pick a favourite...hmmmmm.....hard.....think that peg tag might have stolen my heart too. Lucky hubby! Anyway, best buzz over to my next honey! Such a lovely suite of cards, Sandie! xox
