Sandie and Nonni Kit-part 2

Happy Friday!

Nonni and I are back today with our second set of cards we have made from our kit-we share the same materials combined with our own stash to make cards. This time I send out the kit. On Wednesday we posted our first set of cards. You can see what Nonni made here and what I made here.

And now for my second set of card from the pack:

I have white embossed the butterfly stamp from Happy Little Stampers Birthday Butterfly set in the background. The die cut butterfly was from our kit and the same as the stamped one in the background. I coloured the die with promarkers. I tried really hard to get a better photo of the background-if you zoom in you can see it better.

I will enter this into:
Simon Says Monday Challenge-Things with Wings

My next card was just so much fun to make!

The sentiment from The Ton and the turquoise glitter card was from our kit. I just added some pink glitter foam and enamel dots. I know this looks like it was made really quickly but it took me hours to decide how to do the design and trying out lots off different ways until I was happy. Naturally glitter ended up all over me and my craft space! I quite like how it turned out in the end and thought it would make a fun card for any of you crafting buddies.

Check out what Nonni made from the same kit here.I can't wait to see what she made. It is really exciting to do this. I am soon to be doing a kit with my dear cousin Lynn-check this space soon for details (I have a feeling there will be quite a few CAS cards in our kits...both being such CAS lovers...still we may surprise you!!)

Enjoy your day x

  1. Two fantastic cards hon! I love the idea of the white heat embossed butterflies combined with the die cut butterfly -If a non-crafty person received this card and you'd explain you used one same stamp for two such different looks, that person would be amazed for how much fun stuff can be made with our stamps! Also I love all the glittering in the second card, I was planning something a bit similar but couldn't make my mind with the design, yours is fab! Fun to see so many layers -I'd still call this cas because there's no image for example. Very fun card. Thanks for a great swap and yes we should do another one! :)

  6. Two fantastic cards. The butterfly card is really elegant and the butterfly is beautifully coloured.

I really love that glittery card - the colour combo is fabulous - it has a disco feel! I know what you mean about taking hours - the simplest seeming cards need the most time spent in design.
