Hi All
I have a Springtime card for you today:
The layout of this card is based on the sketch this week at Mojo Monday. I don't often enter this challenge as I find the sketches quite a challenge but this week I was determinded to have a go. I loved the way Teresa interpreted the sketch and it appealed to my CAS loving heart. I actually went for a more CAS version!
I decided to use en embossed line instead of twine. I heat embossed one stamp on vellum and coloured the backside of this to make a peach colour-I had to mix a few copics to get this colour. My colours were chosen from the challenge at Just Us Girls. The yellow flower is just stamped-this and the sentiment are from Verve.
Have a good day x
I will also enter this into:
This is fabulous! Totally CAS with so much gorgeous clean space, and such an elegant flower with the lovely peach colour on vellum <3 A super make. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful CAS design and a great take on the sketch. Love the colours xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, inspired idea to use the embossed line instead of twine ... I just might have to borrow that idea!

Such a soft and pretty card. This feels springy! Thanks for sharing at Less is More!
ReplyDeleteIt's very CAS but still more embellished than what you normally make, I think it's that scalloped border that gives this impression. It's delicate and the cards I've seen you make based on sketches are all very well designed, both the sketch and your style come through.
ReplyDeleteTotally CAS, but I see the sketch quite easily, Sandie ... and what I see is gorgeous, and Spring-like! xx
