Happy Saturday,
I know, it has been ages since I posted. 2 weeks in the sun does that to you!
Mojo not back yet but today I have a card for you I made a while ago and love.
Perhaps CASEing a few of my old cards that I really like might help. Probably bore you, but what do you think...might this help?

We have our Designer's choice challenge at Inkspirational. This time the very creative and inspiring Shauna has designed a sketch for us-see it below.
My CAS loving heart beat a happy dance as soon as I saw it and I made this Birthday card that was sent to my Dad back in April...he likes his wine!!
The clock's are stamped with delicata gold ink and the sentiment white embossed.
Our wonderful Guest Designer for this challenge is Izzy. I love Izzy's style and have been following her for a while now. Do yourself a favour and pop over to her site here and take a browse, you will love it.

I love the delicate sparkle of the gold ink and the clocks are just perfect for the sketch and as you know I'm always a fan of white sentiment on black. Super CAS card!
ReplyDeleteRather handsome and stylish, Sandie ... puts me in mind of a dishy guy in a tuxedo! The sentiment's brilliant ... and so true!! CASEing your own cards ... as many as you like, my friend, I'll lap them up! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Another CAS spectacular, my friend! Love the gold and that sentiment "pops" - just like the wine cork. xx
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! I am so glad you enjoyed the sketch. I like how you paired the clocks with that sentiment, cute theme! I am sure your dad enjoyed receiving this one!

First of all, thanks for your sweet comment and I'm very happy to be Guest Designing with you all ! A fabulous card for your father and I'm always in awe with your CAS style ! A great sentiment that I totally share ! Have a nice WE !
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, Sandie! You father must have loved it. I know I do.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a perfect sentiment! It so fits with this fun and CAS card. Love those clock faces, and in yellow, they don't overpower your sentiment! What a wonderful card. Have a great Sunday. Bev
ReplyDeleteWhen I was struggling with this sketch, I saw this card in the draft post and thought that it was just the perfect card for the sketch! Genius! Also a versatile design that could have the sentiment changed for other occasions. I think case-ing yourself is a good idea.
ReplyDeleteYou sure nailed it with this card! I love it!
ReplyDeleteCaseing old work might do the trick, I use sketches. And sometimes I just sit down, coloring in images, making backgrounds, without meaning to create a finished product, it helps getting back in the game without the pressure of making something.
Sandie, I think this is a fabulous idea for retrieving the vibe you felt during that crafting session that made your heart happy! I'm betting Dad loved this card ... and I do, too!

Your dad and my mum could have this card together! She has at least a daily glass of wine!
ReplyDeleteFantastic card Sandie. Doesn't look as though your mojo is missing. :) LOVE how you've used the clocks for the sketch. And perfect sentiment. I do love Delicata Gold ink a few years back because I saw you using it and fell in love with the yellow-gold. :) Hope you had a wonderful vacation and came back feeling good and refreshed. xx
ReplyDeleteI love your clocks stamped in gold. This is an awesome take on the sketch! xx
