Time Out Challenge #90

Hi There,

We have a new Theme Challenge starting today and the Theme is:

Autumn with the optional twist of Speed Stamping

We are defining speed stamping as making your card in 10 mins or less. This excludes the time you need to plan the design and get all your products ready to make the card.

So get all your cardstock, dies, inks etc ready before you start the clock!

This speed stamping is optional and purely just for fun. We would love you to tell us how long it took you to make your card. We have a prize for all those who choose to speed stamp but this will not be for the fastest just chosen randomly from those who just have a go!

Here is my card

Once I had my stamps (from Altenew) and Inks ready, this took me 8mins and 26 seconds to make. It would have taken about half this time but after finishing stamping it I decided it needed more texture. So very quickly I got out my linen embossing plate and dry embossed it! Good job I always have these tools near by and emboss like this so much, I can do it in my sleep. However I had aimed for 5 mins but because I wanted texture, I didn't make this target!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Elaine and her stunning blog Craft-E-Place is a must to visit. Her designs are always so creative and we are honoured she is joining us for this challenge.

This challenge is sponsored by Happy Little Stampers

All the DT have made super cards for this challenge-some have been speed stamping, some not-you choose!

I will enter this into:
Altenew August Challenge-using the colours from the photo

Take it, it's yours

  10. Anything under 1 hour is speedy in my book:) I could make it faster, probably, but I like to take my time. Would be fun trying this though, but family visits, preparations for refurbishment and work kind of limits my cardmaking activity time a little at the mo... I like the gender neutral and modern design here.

  13. I love how your design flows down from the top left corner to the bottom right - just like leaves falling from the trees :) Love the bright Autumn colours!
