Hi There,
Time for a new challenge at TIME OUT and today we are here to celebrate 'World Dot Day'. This is a day that celebrates creativity and we thought our 'Inspired by Words' challenge was a great way for us all to celebrate creativity. Our words are:
Paint The Flying Spirit Of The Birds Rather than its Feathers
Use any of these words to inspire you or the whole phrase.
And my card:
I am sure you can see I was inspired by the words 'feathers, flying and bird'.
I used the penny and black Hummingbird stamp and coloured it with promarkers. Used a stitched die and nuvo drops for some interest. The sentiment is from our fabulous sponsors for this challenge Happy Little Stampers. The winner of this challenge will get a $15 gift voucher.
Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the super talented Carol we are so pleased she is joining us. Her blog is full of inspiration for us all-check it out here
If you want to know more about 'World Dot Day' and to see more inspiration from Carol and the DT, check out our blog here

Delicate and lovely, Sandie ... the colours are fabulous together ... love how the curve-y panel mimics the flourishy feathers of the bird! Hugs, Anita :)

ReplyDeleteStunning card, hon! I love the selective coloring on the hummingbird and what a fun idea to use the curved panel in the bottom of the card... I have to remember this for future inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous card Sandie. I so love this hummingbird, and you have used it beautifully. I love the movement in its tail! Love the Nuvo drops too!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. Love the delicate swirls of your pretty bird. Fantastic curved edge.
ReplyDeleteSandie that colour combo is gorgeous. I love that stamp - I think you also captured 'spirit' from the words too, the swoosh and swirl really captures it. Such a pretty card. Jenny x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous card! I love how you added movement and layer with the curve under and around the beautifully colored bird. CAS-tastic!
ReplyDeleteI love this Sandie - the soft colours are so perfect for this stamp. I also love the way you added the extra panel with the curve matching the shape of the bird - a perfect touch!
