The Calming feeling of Love coming Home!

Hi All

I had fun making this card-after having no mojo for a while, I suddenly make 2 cards in 2 days!

Getting my cards ready to give to hubby for his next working trip away-this time Hong Kong!

I don't like him being away and there is nothing more calming to me than when he walks through to the door and is home again!

I met Cornelia in London a few weeks ago and she gave me this set of stamps from Unity
I knew exactly what I would use it for!

I was going to go Black for the map but the colours at Less is More this week inspired me to be a bit more adventurous-2 colours I would not have thought of using myself. The sentiment I just popped up.

And I do love that Winnie and Walter frame.

Have a super day x

  1. He's going to love this one! What a sweet card, Sandie, and you've worked those colors perfectly. That is a fun frame; hmmmm....maybe some shopping for me soon, lol!! Make sure you've got some good books, and take lots of naps and then the time will fly by till your love comes home! xo Bev

  4. Sandie, I know exactly what you mean, and couldn't agree more! [granted my husband only works 5 miles from home, but still. lol] Now this card? oh my it's spectacular! I'd bet Callum will love it, too - these little reminders of/from you undoubtedly make his work away more bearable my friend! xx

  7. My mojo is pretty much non-existent too. So much work to do in the gardens with Winter upon us and rose pruning next month (which I love). This is such a genius way to use 'Calm' and your right, it is a calming feeling when you finally reach home. And your signature colour is gorgeous!!
