Stars!

 Hi All

I hope you are keeping well x

I have followed the Twofer Challenge since it began and have only entered once. Not because I don't like it but because I find well......a real challenge!! I think my mind goes blank when I see it now and am always amazed by how many of you are so good at this-totally inspiring.

This month they made it a little easier and said we could use the same occasions....so I thought-great I will do 2 Christmas cards-it didn't work out that way...and I finally managed to follow the normal rules!!!

My common item is the Shooting Star Stencil from Funky Fossil Designs

First up  Christmas card:

The sentiment is from the no longer with us 'Verve'-still love their stamps.

Then I made this card....I won't go into details as it took me days and lots of bits in bins....lets just say-I am much happier with stamps and ink!!

Can you see that stencil??

And the 2 together:

So I did it!!

The second one I will also enter into Inkspirational-where they are asking us to 'Frame it'-that little purple frame was in my stash and I love it!

Have a good day my crafty friends xx

  1. I'm glad to see you in the gallery, Sandie! Your cards are well worth all the effort! Both cards are fabulous! Your Christmas card is CAS and with the most perfect sentiment of the Season (I miss Verve, too!). There's a lovely serenity surrounding your card. And your Smile card, with those sweet stars peeking through, is fun! Love that you've framed your sentiment. Two great cards! Thank you so much for joining us at The Twofer Challenge. Stay extra safe. xo Bev

  2. I'm so glad you were able to play, Sandie, but I'm sorry to hear that your frame peek-a-boo star design gave you so much trouble! It's great and so is the pretty "wise men" Christmas design! That's a beautiful star trail stencil. Thank you so much for playing in TCC #33! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell

  5. Two wonderful cards, and wow, it does not seem like you used the same supplies...until I look more carefully. So very creative.

  8. Yay, you're here, Sandie ... and with two delicious cards! The purple and yellow strip of stars highlights your framed, gold tinged smile sentiment beautifully ... who'd have known it gave you so much trouble! Love your Christmas card ... the swoosh of stars drawing the eye to that lovely verse is strong yet understated ... a fabulous, contemporary way to highlight the Light of the World! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
