Time Out #69

Hello there,

We have a new challenge at Time Out. It is our 'Inspired by Words' challenge and our words are:

'Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart'

You can use any of these words to inspire you or perhaps use the whole phrase.

I went with 'Thanks' and created this one layer card:

I have used the circle burst stamp from The Ton and the '#You Rock' is from Happy Little Stampers. I just rounded off the edge to the card as it seemed to fit perfectly with the circle stamp.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Karren. Check out her blog Stamping Stuff and you will see how very creative she is. We are so happy that Karren is joining us for this challenge.

Karren and our DT have all been inspired differently and have created amazing cards-take a look here. Then next week more of our team and Karren will be back with another set of cards for you.

This challenge doesn't close until Wed 9th November 5pm GMT...plenty of time to take some TIME OUT and craft with us.

Enjoy x

Hi All,

Our challenge this week at AAA cards is:

'Masculine'

We want to see cards for guys!

Here is my make:

The white bows are actually made from glitter card but not sure you can see this so well. This card went to my Uncle for his Birthday. He is definitely a black tie guy so thought he would find this a lot of fun

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Joyce. Her blog is full of inspiring and creative projects. Take a look here and I guarantee you will come back inspired to get inky!

Our sponsors for this challenge are Stampendous.  The winner will get a $20 gift voucher to spend in their store.

Remember our challenge is for 'Clean and Simple' cards only so we like to see lots of space on your cards.

Most of all enjoy!

More Coffee??

Want anymore coffee??

I am back with my second coffee card. I actually made this card first (before the one I posted yesterday) but was not so happy with it. So I then went more CAS and made my one layer version. Still I decided to share this with you as we can't always love the cards we make!

This time I used the colours from Sunday Stamps going with the same rough design making the sentiment the star again:

Which card did you like best? Here is a quick reminder of yesterday's card:

Coffee Break?

Hi There,

Any one for coffee?

There are a few coffee challenges around at the moment. I have very few coffee stamps but wanted to give it a go. I made 2 cards but will be back tomorrow with the other one.

My aim with these cards was to make the sentiment from Uniko centre stage. I love this sentiment and think it should be the star of the show so I very lightly stamped the coffee cup off the card.

I hunted around blogland for colours to use and found some at Colour Throwdown.

I used all my favs on this card-linen embossing plate, one layer, rounded edge and enamel dots. To be honest I like this card much better than tomorrow's....I really am a one layer, CAS loving kinda girl!

A quick reminder that at Time Out Challenges you still have time to join in our latest challenge where we are CASEing this amazing card by Ardyth

Time Out #68

Hi All

At Time Out for the next 2 weeks we are CASEing (copy and share everything) the very talented Ardyth. I have been a long time fan of Ardyth and have many times CASEd her cards. I love her graphic CAS style and was honoured she agreed to be our CASE designer for Time Out. Have a browse around her blog Maskerade-you will love what you see.

Here is my CASE of Ardyth's card:

And Ardyth's card:

I am sure you can see I followed the layout of Ardyth's card just swapping it around and replacing the flowers with snowflakes-all from CAS-ual Friday Stamps I also used all her colours except the green. I added gems and enamel dots rather than stamps. And I stamped a gold strip at the side instead of glitter card at the bottom. Stamping the gold strip was a huge task to get straight...misti I need you!!

I loved making this card. I was so inspired by the CASE card-a huge thank you to Ardyth both for joining us and for continuing to inspire me.

For this challenge our 2 new DT members Stephanie and Jennifer join us for the first time and we say good bye to Elizabeta who has been with us since we began Time Out two and a half years ago.

Welcome Stephanie and Jennifer we look forward to creating with you. Goodbye Elizabeta, thank you for inspiring us from day one-you will missed.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is my teamie from InkspirationalMarina. Marina is a fabulously creative designer. Take a look at her blog My Perfect Life and you will see so many inspiring projects. I have admired her creativity for many years now and am very excited that she is our GD for this challenge.

Time to take a look at what the DT have created for you here.

Then take some TIME OUT and play along x

I will enter this into:

CAS-ual Friday Challenge-1 in 8-all snowflakes are CAS-ual Friday stamps and more than 8!

Dreams

Hi there,

Another quick visit from me with a card for the latest challenge at Less is More

It is the 'One Layer' week and the theme is 'Dreams'.

I know not all of us like to make 'one layer' cards but they are my favourite kind of cards.

I have had this sentiment from Verve for a very long time and don't get to use it often. So I was happy to see the theme this week. I love this phrase and think we all need to keep that little place in our hearts for those dreams.......but often forget to!

The heart stamp from The Ton is stamped in delicata silver ink which is all sparkly IRL. My new mini misti (from hubby) helped me to line this all up. The hardest part of this card was deciding if and what embellishments to add. It just looked too flat without anything. I went with pearls after trying out so, so many other ones.

Have a fun day xx

Pressie Time!

Hi All,

Just popping in with a quick make for the challenge this week at CAS(E) This Sketch

As soon as I saw the sketch I couldn't get this bow stamp out of my head and yesterday I finally got down to making this card. I think it fits the sketch in a really CAS way and I do love that!

That is me for today. I have a fun day x

Inkspirational #119

We have a new challenge at Inkspirational and it is our Designer's choice challenge.
This time it is Nonni's turn and she has chosen:

Use 5 stamps or more on your project.

I challenged myself to make a CAS card with 5 or more stamps:

All my stamps are from STAMPlorations-the leaves are all different but from the same set Trendy Leaves 2 and the sentiments are also from STAMPlorations but I did some surgery to make this combination.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Bev. I am sure many of you will know her blog Happy Dance and if not hop on over there and you will inspired and come back ready to create and do a 'happy dance' with us.
