Time Out #134

Hi All

Time for a new challenge and here is what I made:

I made this as we are asking you to be:

We are so excited that we are being sponsored by Winnie and Walter and on my card I have used their super fun stamp set Dotty about You-I thought the colours, the stamps and the sentiment are all 'playful'.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Nancy. I am so pleased she is joining us-take a look at her blog here and you will come back inspired to craft!

Before you take TIME OUT to craft and be 'playful', pop on over to Time Out and see what Nancy and the team have made.

They are a 'playful' bunch!!

Enjoy!

Inkspirational #185

Hi All

Time for a new challenge at Inkspitational

It is our photo challenge.

I have gone out of my comfort zone here and made this:

And the photo that inspired this:

Pretty easy to see I went with the teapot and teacup!

I have used the stamp set Serendipi-tea by CAS-ual Fridays. I heat embossed in pink the teacup and teapot onto designer paper and the fussy cut this out.

The teapot was popped up on pads but I decided to keep the teacup flat.

Used a STAMPlorations die and just stamped the sentiment and popped this up with foam pads onto the designer card.

Check out what our amazing Design Team made, inspired by this photo, here and then get inky!

Enjoy!

Easter Blessings.

Hi All

Popping in quickly with a card for a few challenges.

I got the lay out from Freshly made Sketches

Got the idea for the yellow base from the yellow cup that jumps off the page in the photo at latest photo challenge at Inspired by Challenge-also got the idea to use the floral paper from DT member here LeAnne-I saw her floral card and went hunting for some paper with some of colours from photo in it-thanks LeAnne for the idea x

Cross is die cut and popped up on foam pads (die from Verve-no longer with us x)
Sentiment from Uniko

Have a fun day x

Bursting with Love!

Hi All

I am popping in with a card I made quickly for a few challenges.

Hubby is working away for 2 weeks and this is the first time we have been apart for so long in over 15 years. I have decided to make him a few cards to open over the trip......make sure he doesn't forget I exist and to remind him I love and miss him.

This is for:

CASology-Burst.-I had the idea of using this stamp as soon as I saw the challenge and only got around to it today. The heart stamp is Bokeh Burst Heart from The Ton-the sentiment is also from The Ton.The heart stamp bursts but so does my love for hubby x

AAA CAS card challenge-make in minutes with optional twist of dry embossing folder-I did go with option as the pink strip is dry embossed but hard to see in the photo. This card took me 9 mins and 44 sec (I love timing myself!)-a little longer than I expected but I got a bit messed up with getting the pink strip to line up!

I used my 2 fav colour inks from Catherine Pooler-flirty fuchsia and twilight.

Have a fun day xx

Inkspirational #184

Hi All

Time for a new challenge at Inkspirational and today our inspiring teamie chose:

Pop it Up-add some dimension!

Here is my take:

I used my fav way to 'pop up' and add dimension to a card-fun foam-this and quick! Here I used it in yellow on the die cut cross and just off set a cream cross die cut. The cross is from 'Verve' stamps-not in production anymore...so sad!!
There is also dimension added to the stitched die and sentiment-using foam pads.

All the DT have made super cards to inspire you-take a look here and then get inky!

Enjoy!

Let Your Light Shine!

Hi All

Popping in with a card I made super quick-my kind of card!

A one layer 'stamp and go' card that took me 6 mins and 20 secs to make....and a minute of that was deciding where to put the sparkle enamel dots!

Being fair to myself though and all CAS card makers.....I did think about the design a lot before I actually made it. I nearly always do this....ideas linger until I think I know what to do and then.....off I go to make it!

All the products are from Concord and 9th.

I was making this for the AAA Card challenge-make in minutes with optional twist of embossing folder-I decided to use linen textured embossed card rather than actually embossing the card myself.

And I used delicta silver ink as if you want the embossed shine without having the time to heat emboss-this is the perfect ink..still looks shiny IRL

I anm sure you guessed I got the inspiration for this from challenge at Less is More-shine the light!

And I will also enter this into Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge-One Layer

This was such a fun card to make and made me remember why I love making 'stamp and go' cards!

Have a fun day x

Easter Blessings!

A very Happy Day to you all,

Some water colouring from me today.

This card is based on the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch.

I used some masking water colour liquid to create the green stripe with water colour paints.
The flower from Concord and 9th was die cut from some scrap card I had previously water coloured. I used a paint brush to add some gold paint splashes....still trying to master this one!
Adding in some fresh Spring colours and a Uniko sentiment stamped onto a Winnie and Walter Die

Have a super day!
