A huge thank you to Nonni and all my fellow Time Out Challenges DT members for organising a surprise liny party for me-you are all very sneaky but the best!

Plus another big thank you to Kylie and Sarah for organising another party for me.

Fusion-Port O' Call Polariod

Hello there,

Are you ready to play along at Fusion?

This week I went along with the photo (no surprise there!)

I focused on the red and blue stripes. I don't have a misti so eye balled this and it came out pretty good. The sentiment is heat embossed

You can be inspired by either the sketch or the photo. Combine the 2 if you want-we love to see this.

Our Guest Designer for April is the very talented Cris Check out her Flicr account  here here and you will love what you see!

Don't forget to pop over to our main blog here and see what the DT have created to inspire you x

I will enter this into the 'emboss it' challenge at Simon Says Monday Challenge

Time Out #56 Reminder

Hi There,

Have you joined us at Time Out Challenges?

We are CASEing the super talented Kay Miller.

This week I used the same design as I did last week but decided how just by adding some texture how different the card can look.

I just dry embossed all the die cuts and used white and cream. I am not sure which card I like best-here is the one I made last week:

Which one do you like best?

And here is Kay's card that inspired me so very much:

The very talented Marlena is joining us again this week as our Guest Designer. Check out what Marlena and the DT have created to inspire you this week here

Then take some TIME OUT and play with us x

The Card Concept #55

Time for a new challenge at The Card Concept.

We have a bright and sunny photo for you today.

I was inspired by the yellow and black and just the fact the photo made me want to smile:

Here is our photo:

Originally I had made this card for this challenge but I am on the Clean and Simple DT and all these dots made this card not a 'true' CAS card so I CASEd myself and came up with this version. This version made my CAS loving heart happier! The orange'smile' is heart embossed and the rest of it is made with stitched dies.

Remember you can create you card in any style or combine styles.

This month our Guest Designer is the very talented Becca. She will be creating mixed media cards for us. Becca's blog, The Damsel of Distress, will be known by many of you but if not, pop over there and you will be inspired.

I will enter this into the CAS Mix Up Challenge-heat embossing (my sentiment), stamping and stitched die

Have fun x

Inkspirational #108

It is our colour challenge at Inkspirational for the next 2 weeks.

We want to see cards with:

'Mint and Navy'

This colour combo did stump me for quite a while. I do find colouring challenges hard. But after a while I came up with this:

Quite simple really when you get your CAS loving heart in gear! And yes, that is some masking I have done!! Although this combo was a challenge for me, I love this Spring card.

What will these colours inspire you to make?

Our Guest Designer is the very talented TaeEun. I love to visit her inspiring blog and urge you to have a look here and be inspired!

Our DT have all made fabulous cards. Take a look here then get inky!

Time Out Challenge #56

Hello All,

Time to take some TIME OUT and play along at our CASE challenge at Time Out.

For this challenge we have an amazing card for you to CASE by Kay Miller. Her blog My Joyful Moments is full of creative and inspiring cards. I urge you to visit it and I know you will come away ready to take some Time Out to get inky!

CASE means 'copy and share everything'. Basically have a look at Kay's card and see what it inspires you to make and get straight to it!

Here is my CASE:

I loved everything about Kay's card and have almost just repeated it! I stamped the splashes behind the frame. Cut flowers and leaf dies and just arranged them slightly differently. I liked the grey Kay used but decided to use more pinks and purples and to keep to just a touch of grey. This quite a different card for me-layers and dies, but I have to say I loved making it and really like how it turned out.

Here is Kay's card:

The very talented Marlena is our Guest Designer for this challenge. Marlena plays in nearly all our challenges and every entry is a delight to see. Her creativity is amazing. Take a look at her blog here and you will see what I mean!

O.K your turn now. Take some TIME OUT and get crafty!
