More Christmas!

Another Christmas card for you:

The die is from Penny Black. And the sentiment from Uniko

I made this with the colours from Color Throw down but didn't realise that it was the colours from last week!

I used the sketch at CAS Colour and Sketches for my layout-using the score lines as part of this.

I will also enter this into Addicted to Stamps and More-CAS

Hi All

I love using cream and white together and this is the colour challenge at Less is More this week-so had to play along.

I made a sympathy card. Always good to have some but in the hope you don't have to use them. Cream and white seem perfect for this type of card.

I used subtle embossed base card and then used a white panel popped up. I stamped the flowers from CAS-ual Fridays-this set is now retired but I just love it. I then cut just one of the flower dies in cream embossed card and also popped this up.

I really like this sentiment (from a retired company) for sympathy card as I think it makes you focus on the good times and these I hope will bring comfort.

I know this card looks simple but it took ages! I have to run up and downstairs as hubby now works at home and my craft stuff is in different places as we don't have the space-It drives me a bit crazy but in these strange times we just have to adapt.

Crafting may take longer but needs must!

Hi All,

We have a new challenge at Time Out

And this time it is out Theme challenge:

I decided I would go with 'Literature' as my 'ART' but you can go anyway you want..perhaps movies, painting, music....just whatever you see as 'The Arts'

I have heat embossed thee books with the stamp from Visible Images-Free the Imagination. I distressed the edges just like the torn edges of a well read book!

Shock, horror....I did some colouring...well for me a lot of colouring-adding shading, the lot!!

This flower is from Funky Fossil Designs

This card was inspired by 2 challenges:

Inkspirational-I had a good study of this and used all these in my card:

-the pink flowers

-the framing of the flowers around the door-I framed around one edge and the sentiment

-the different greens of the leaves

-I placed the card on kraft as there are touches in the photo-the flower pot, the basket and seat of the bike.

CAS(E) this Sketch-I used my flower stamp to follow the angled edges.

Mon Ami!

Hi All

A little water colouring for the challenge at Colour Throwdown.

I love the colour combo and went way out of my comfort zone with some watercolouring and using a cover plate. I wasn't sure how to get the peach colour so looked it up and loved mixing the red, yellow and white to make peach-wonderful to see the peach colour come as you mix!

This cover plate was sent to me by my dear friend Joyce.

Fun to sometimes step outside the comfort zone!
