Lets Celebrate Family!

Hello my crafty friends,

Today I received a crafty present in the post from my cousin Lynn and decided to have a play with it straight away. I made this card:

I have made this card to celebrate my Family both here and across the pond. I am blessed with a big and loving Family and what better way to celebrate this than to make a card made with love!

The sentiment set that Lynn gave me is from Winnie and Walter (thank you Lynn!). I was again inspired by the colours and circles in the photo at Just us Girls. I have heat embossed the sentiment in pink on vellum and added a few grey enamel dots to represent the circles in the photo. I will also enter this into the 'Family' challenge at Less is More

I hope you are all still having a wonderful Festive time x

Thanks!

How did your Christmas go?

I had a lot of fun with my Family and am now at home recovering!

Santa dropped off some new craft storage units for me as little hint to get my craft area tidied. I have done a little today but took some time out to make a quick thank you card.

Here it is:

This card was inspired by photo this week at Just Us Girls. I love pink and grey together. I followed the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch.

I have used some SN@P stickers that my crafty buddy Kim gave me for my Birthday in May-sorting things today I came across them and thought the dots would be great for the JUGS challenge! So thank you Kim!

The sentiment is from STAMPlorations so I will enter this into their Anything Goes Challenge

A very Happy Christmas and a reminder for TIME OUT!

A very Merry Christmas to you all!

I know many of you will be far away from blogland today but also there may be some who want to escape the madness and relax for a few minutes in blogland. Also for all of you who are not so busy today, I hope our little reminder post brightens your day.

I am here to remind you that you still have time to enter our 'Inspired by Words' challenge at TIME OUT Challenges. Our words are:

'Christmas is Love with all the Trimmings'

Use any of these words to inspire you!

I went with my very loved wreath stamp. So quick and easy to use. This was stamped using the gorgeous Delicate ink-it really does look like you have embossed.

I know you have seen this before stamp before but I have used it in so many different ways and I still love it!

Check out the wonderful cards from our DT here

I will enter this into:

CAS on Sunday-Christmas

And a very Merry Christmas xx

Inkspirational #72

A very Happy Weekend-the last one before Christmas!

It is time for our photo challenge at Inkspirational and I just love this photo and lets see if you can guess why?

Get it?

Yep, purple and a Cityscape-you know I love both!! Sort of weird then that I feature neither on my card!!

The splatter stamp is from Paper Artsy and the sentiment stamps are from STAMPlorations

This stamps really does look like fire works to me and the pink does sparkle IRL as it is covered with Wink of Stella-shame you can't see it so well.

This week we are joined by one of my favourite crafters Karen. Her blog Made by Meadie is full if the most inspiring projects. I am so very blessed that Karen and I have recently become blogging friends and her Christmas card was my first Holiday card this year arriving just as December hit. She is very organised! I hope you have your card now Karen!

Our DT have all made fabulous projects and you can check them out here

I am entering this card into the sketch challenge at STAMPlorations and their Dec challenge (July-stamps and glitter) and their AG challenge.

Time Out #21

Happy Friday Eve!

It is our last challenge this year at TIME OUT Challenges and we want you to be 'inspired by words' and these words are:

Christmas is Love with all the Trimmings

You can be inspired by the whole phrase or just a one or two of the words. If you need more Christmas cards then just go with the word Christmas and make any kind of Christmas project. If you have finished all your Holiday cards why not go with 'Love' and make a Valentine's card. Trimmings....what could you do with that...perhaps Christmas day dinner or how about ribbons? I am sure you are all full of so many ideas.

Our Guest Designer this week is Shirley. Her blog Shirley-bee is just so full of creative and inspiring projects-take some TIME OUT and visit, you will come away ready to create!

This week I used the 'rustic Christmas'  and 'Simply Said' Christmas stamp sets from Uniko.

A quick CAS card!

Once more our fabulous DT have out done themselves with amazing cards to inspire you. Check them out here and take some time out and play along.

I will enter this into the 'Winter Inspiration' challenge at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge

Check out the mood board:

I went with the little red bird!

Have fun xx

Addicted to Stamps and More #126

It is time for our 'Anything Goes' challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. This week we are adding a little twist as we are celebrating the Wedding of our fabulous team member Marina. Our twist is to make a Love/Marriage card to help us celebrate Marina's Wedding on the 27th December. You don't have to twist with us and you can still make an anything goes card. I went with the twist and I am hoping this card has reached you Marina!

If you do twist you have the chance of winning a watermark and blog signature from Kylie-chosen at random!!

Very CAS but it just seemed right to me for a Wedding.

We are sponsored this week by QKR Stamps and you could own 3 of their fab digis.

Check out the projects from our DT-some have twisted, some not but we all want to congratulate you on your Wedding Marina.

So will you twist with us??

Fusion

I hope you are all having a good weekend.

I have a card today for Fusion's last challenge of the year. As many of you know I love to play along with Fusion but this challenge I found a challenge! I loved the photo and really wanted to go with the gingham however creativity escaped me. After thinking of ideas for over a week I decided just to forget about gingham and re-look at the photo. This turned out to be a good idea as I immediately came up with this idea and combined it with my favourite sketch out at the moment from STAMPlorations

I went with the pine cones!

The cones are from Clearly Besotted Stamps and the sentiment from Uniko

Just simple stamping plus a touch of white pen, Wink of Stella and sequins for a little touch of interest. I was pleased how it turned out and especially pleased that I got to play along in the last challenge this year at Fusion.

I will also enter this into:

Crazy for CAS-something old (my CBS are over a year old)
Crazy for Challenges-Winter Themed Birthday card-this is for a Birthday in Jan
