My first CAS card

CAS-yes it took me a while to work out that this means 'Clean and Simple'. Crafters in blog world are always using it and when you are new to blogging it can be confusing. But now I am getting into the lingo and have made my first CAS card. I saw a challenge on 'Less is more' to make a CAS card using polka dots. I also saw the supply challenge on 'dancing in pajamas'-this week you had to use acetate ias part of your design. I decided to go with a Xmas card and used a clear acetate with black polka dots over white card and tried to give it a CAS feel by using a simple Xmas stamp. I am really happy with the clean look of this card and will definetly try CAS ing again.

  1. Great card Sandie - glad you like the CAS look; it's amazing how it changes the way you make cards. Hope to see you join in with all the other LIMettes on future challenges.

  2. :) Blogging is like texting! There is a whole new language! I love your design Sandie. The touch of bling at the end of the sentiment is perfect. I find CAS designs are great for cards that need to go into the mail. A bit less postage!
