Time Out Challenge #24

Happy Friday Eve,

That must mean it is time for a new challenge at TIME OUT challenges.

For this challenge we are CASEing the very talented designer Kylie.
I know most of you will know Kylie as owner of Addicted to CAS and Addicted to Stamps and More and now she also designs watermarks and more. Check out the watermark on my card-designed by the lovely Kylie. As well as being super talented Kylie is a very dear friend and we were lucky enough to meet IRL last year when Kylie stayed with me in London.

Now for the card we are CASEing-just take a look at the card and then create your own card adding your own twist!

I am not really a tag person but I was really inspired by Kylie's sweet tag and the gorgeous pink colour. Here is my take:

I have used the stamp set Uniko Flower Power #2 and just added little enamel dots. This is not one of my favourite cards and I wish I could have done a better job at CASEing Kylie's card. However we can't always love what we create.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Sarah. Sarah makes the most wonderful CAS cards and she is always so encouraging to other crafters. I am sure many of you will have had a lovely and inspiring comment from Sarah on your blog. Check out her blog Sazzle Dazzle Crafts and be amazed!

Then pop over to TIME OUT challenges to see what our fabulous DT have created for you.

Then, you know what to do...take some TIME OUT and join in the fun!

  2. I LOVE this. You are being way too hard on yourself. You have gone outside your comfort zone with the tag and I love how CAS you kept it. Those enamel dots are perfect! Thanks so much for having me at Time Out xx

  12. I know the feeling, there are some cards I'm not that happy with either. Surprisingly I often see that those are the ones collecting the most comments.
I love caseing cards, it pushes me to try something new. I do like tag cards, but I'm so bad at making them, I think it's challenging to decorate such a small space. I do feel this design has a touch of Kylie, but also of Sandie, with the bright colors and enamel dots.

  14. Well, I think you did pretty well considering your not a flower stamp user. Love that deep pink colour and how you layered the mint and pink in the cardstock. Your card is so sweet, maybe it will grow on you!

  15. Finally catching up on all the beautiful artwork on the blogs...
Glad to read that I wasn't the only one that had a little struggle by casing this card... Those flowers are beautiful, but I think the dots were necessary...
