Congratulations Shery!

Hi All,

Today at Time Out Challenges we are celebrating the fact that our very own Design Team member Shery last week became a first time Mum.

Congratulations Shery.

Here is my card to celebrate your good news:

When I sat down to make this card I was in the mood to make a graphic card and looked for a sketch that would inspire me. I found this one at Happy Little Stampers

Pretty graphic right? Well once I looked through my stamps for something I wanted to use, I went a completely different direction. However I followed the sketch and really liked the end result.

My colour scheme comes from the latest inspiration photo at Just Add Ink. Here I liked the mix of pink, purple and orange. As you know I like pink and purple but thought mixing this with orange was quite a cool idea. Here is their photo:

  8. I do recognize the sketch in your design, you've personalized it, but the elements are where the colored blocks would be. Your card is soft and delicate as opposed to the look of the sketch, and your style is very fitting for congratulating someone on their new arrival.
