Happy Monday
I hope your week has started well.
When I saw the challenge of 'Waves' at CASology, I knew I wanted to make a card about 'waves of emotions', but couldn't find a sentiment that I wanted to use. And it wasn't until the challenge at Less is More-focus on the sentiment, one layer card-that I thought of this sentiment!
I thought the whole sentiment summed up 'waves of emotions' but also that a 'storm' produces 'waves' of water, winds etc
Now I look at the card the dancer's body seems to curl around the sentiment like a 'wave'-this is just not my intention when I made the card, but I see it now!!
Oh and I just realised this works for AAA card challenge-use one corner with the optional twist of music-my card uses the optional twist...can't dance without music!!
Have a fun day x
Great combination of challenges! Was thinking to try that too, but no good idea jet... And the sentiment and balerina fit beautifully together! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteA lovely take on our cue word. I like your thought process. Thanks for joining in the fun as CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteStunning, Sandie. Love how simple this card is, and how perfectly the image and sentiment work together. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteI love the direction you went in with the cue word, Sandie! Beautiful card - thanks for sharing with us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteThe movement of the dancer and the square like shaped sentiment look great built together like this.
ReplyDeleteWonderful CAS card and the sentiment is great with that image xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a clever way to interpret 'wave' Sandie - I never thought of that. Your cornered card is perfect. I had a go at the AAA challenge but it just looked so unbalanced I gave up!
ReplyDeleteGreat layered stamping.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Sandie ... so full of movement and fabulous impact! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteStunning design Sandie. Your placement of the stamps is impeccable! That ballerina image is so joyful and you are right - it does look like her body is curving around the sentiment like a wave. Just beautiful. Thanks so much for popping this in to us at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful simplicity, Sandie. Love the placement, the colours, and that single rounded corner. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
