CASology #365 Kite

Hi All

Our new challenge at CASology starts today and our cue word is:

And her is my take:

I decided to get out the trusty thesaurus for this as I had no traditional 'flying kite' images. I saw the a kite is also a 'bird of prey'. So went with this take and looked at various images of 'birds of prey'. I thought this image from the Into the Wild Stencil from Funky Fossil Designs was perfect for it and started away sponging. Then overlapped it with this sentiment is from STAMPlorations allowing for plenty of white space!
Just added some texture from from linen embossing plate and rounded off the corners and there you go...a one layer!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Claire. I am a huge fan of Claire and have been for many years. Please pop over to her blog and delight in her amazing talents-thank you Claire for joining us, it is a delight!

Pop on over to CASology to see what the DT have created for you and then join on in!

Our Design Team are all worth a visit and some love-here they are;

Enjoy!

  2. What a brilliant interpretation of the cue word. I had completely forgotten about Kits--I think they are birds of prey, and love how you have overlapped the sentiment and image.
