A Friday make

A happy Friday to you all,

I have a card today inspired by a few challenges I have wanted to play along with this week. Yesterday I got the chance to have some crafty time.

Here is the card:

I decided I wanted to challenge myself again to enter the ColourQ Challenge-I had no idea how I was going to get the blue and the coral onto my card but came up with colouring my butterfly blue and my pearls coral using copics. Another week that I have made, what to me are really hard colours, work...yes I am pleased with myself!!

That gold strip is actually adhesive tape that I picked up from a shop in Covent Garden-a little find! The butterfly is a new one from Concord and 9th

I will also enter this into the 'metallics' challenge at Uniko-the sentient is actually a Uniko one.

        

Inkspirational #89

Hello there,

Time for our word prompt challenge at Inkspirational. Our word this week in:

I thought about this for a while and was going to go with ice cubes in cocktails or something similar as we are in the middle of Summer in Britain. However this sketch back in July at CAS(E) this sketch got me thinking in a different direction and here is what I created:

In Britain snow tends to melt very quickly!

Today I have a one layer Christmas card for you that was inspired by the sketch this week at CAS(E) this sketch. I had an idea for this sketch and was looking for the dies I wanted to use but came across a Casual Fridays stamp I haven't used for a while and the sentiment just looked perfect for this sketch.
