Inkspirational #95 and Happy Birthday Lynn!

Hello All

Time for our colour challenge at Inkspirational. We are going all sparky on you this week with:

Anything goes with Silver

Here is my card:

I have used Happy Little Stampers Mix and Match Stamp set for this card. I silver embossed the sentiment.

I did originally make this card for my cousin Lynn who is celebrating her Birthday today-have a good one Lynn. Lynn loves pink and grey so that is why I used these colours. However I changed my mind and sent her another card!

Our Guest Designer this week is the very talented Kathi. We are so pleased she is joining us for this challenge. Check out her inspiring blog here

Our DT have all made some sparky wonders to inspire you. Take a look here and that get inky.

Enjoy!

I will add this to:

Time out #43 Reminder

A very Happy Happy Friday Eve my friends,

Have you joined our challenge at Time Out yet?

We are asking to see:

Christmas with the optional twist of pink and or/purple

This week I decided not to twist and and made this super CAS card:

The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers and the holly leaves from Uniko who are also are sponsors for this challenge. I really loved the CAS look of this with all that white space and just wanted to add a touch of texture. So out came my linen embossing plate-perfect when you just need to 'deck' out that card!!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented and creative Suchi.

You can see what Suchi and the rest of the team have created to inspire you to join in with us here

Then kick back and take some Time Out to craft xx

I will enter this into the following challenges:

The Card Concept #43

Time for a new challenge at The Card Concept

Here is our photo for the next fortnight:

You can create in any style you want and these are explained here.

I am a 'Clean and Simple' designer I was inspired by the fancy cornice pattern at the top of the dresser-look how close the pattern is to my fancy stamp under the sentiment. I also used the colours from the photo.

I got the idea for this card when I saw Kylie demonstrating some cards using her new Happy Little Stampers sets. I asked her if I could CASE one of her cards for this challenge. I used her main design but actually made it more CAS, changes the colours to match our photo and added some texture with the egg shell embossed card base and added some Uniko stars.

Julee Tilman, owner and illustrator for Verve stamps is joining us as our Guest Designer for November we are thrilled. She has made some shabby/chic cards for us to admire. Check out Julee's and the DTs cards here and then get creating!

I will enter this into the 'Anything Goes' challenge at Happy Little Stampers and the CAS challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

Fusion-Purple and Poppies

Hello again,

We have a new challenge at Fusion. Today we have this gorgeous photo and sketch to inspire you:

You can use either the sketch or photo or fuse the 2.

I went with the photo:

I water coloured this poppy stamp and added the sentiment at the top for balance. Just a few sequins to finish it off.

Our DT have created some fabulous cards. Check them out here.

I will enter this into this week's challenge at Muse where Tracey's card is so very pretty and perfectly CAS-I kept to the same feel (I hope) as Tracey's card plus the lay out of flowers down the side just moving the sentiment.

Now it is time for you to get inky.

Enjoy x

Time Out #43

A very Happy Friday Eve,

You know what that means.......time to take some TIME OUT and get crafty as TIME OUT  are starting a new challenge. This time around it is our theme challenge and the theme is:

Christmas with the optional twist of using purple and/or pink

Here is my card using the twist:

Uniko are sponsoring this challenge and we are very pleased that some of their Design Team are joining in with us this week-you can check out what they have created on our main blog here. We are choosing a random winner from those who twist with us. I got the idea for this card when I saw Jane, a member of the DT Uniko team create this card. I loved how used vellum to stamp the poinsettia. The stamp is pure florals-poinsettia from Uniko and the sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very creative Suchi. I have for a long time admired Suchi's cards. Check out her blog here.

Pop over to Time Out and see what Suchi and the DT have created to inspire you to join in and then take some time out and join in. Christmas is just around the corner so this challenge gives you a good change to get ahead!

I will enter this into:

Addicted to Stamps and More-Holiday Challenge
Runway Inspired Challenge-my vellum poinsettia very much like the lace bridal dress!

Now it is your turn to kick back and join in the fun x

Inkspirational #94

A very Happy Weekend my blogging Friends

It is time for a new challenge at Inkspirational. We have our 'Designer's Choice' challenge. This time around, the very talented and fun Carol has chosen 'Cute Halloween' as the theme.

Here is my card:

This was a tough one for me. I don't really make Halloween cards and thought I had no Halloween stamps. I had a look through my stash and came across a set from STAMPlorations. I won this set when I entered one of their very first challenges I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the ghost and hat and arranged them around the CAS-ual Friday sentiment, which I had heat embossed. I actually hand drew the cob web!

This was fun to make-so thank you for challenging me Carol!

Our Guest Designer is Becca. Her blog Damsel of Distressed Cards is so inspiring, go and check it out, you will love what you see.

Our DT have all made some fun cards. Take a look here and then have some fun with us.

I will enter this into the 'clean and simple Halloween' challenge at AAA cards and the photo inspired challenge at The Challenge and the 'pretty pumpkins' challenge at Curtain Call and the 'spooky' challenge at Addicted to CAS

You Rock!

Hi All

I have a card for you today inspired by the colours at Colour Q-melon mambo, grey and pink pirouette-fitting colours for Breast awareness month.

I started off by stamping these stripes in the 2 colours and then die cutting the bubble. After I did this, I then stamped the sentiment. Layered up some more die cut bubbles to give the dimension. I added a few sequins and enamel dots in the right colours and although I don't have melon mambo ink but do have the SU card stock.

I will also enter this into the 'geometric' challenge at Uniko and 'Think Pink' at AEIHeartuChallenge

Have a fun day x
