Real Friends!

Hi There,

Yesterday when I saw the 'let it shine' challenge at Less is More, I looked around my craft desk and saw the sprakly wine glass dies I had used to make this card. This challenge gave me the perfect way to use up some stash and I made this:

I just embossed the white card with a fabric folder-love the texture this gives. And white heat embossed the sentiment on black card and popped it up on foam pads. These wine glasses are cut from glitter card.
The sentiment and dies are both from My Favourite Things

Smile!

Hi All

My card today is inspired by the photo and the colours for this month at the 'Encouragement Challenge' at Calling All Sistahs. This challenge is all about making cards for anyone who needs a little lift in their spirits.

Here is my card:

And the photo that inspired it:

I was inspired by the flower as the main image and I used all the colours, even stamping my sentiment in brown for a change. The flower is stamped in 2 different greens and I hunted through my very large collection of enamel dots for 3 different greens...you know I love my enamel dots!

I have used a mixture of sentiments from CAS-ual Fridays- 'pretty posies' and 'sassy smiles'
The flower is from Visible Images

Time to Celebrate!

Morning All,

It's Friday and that is a good enough reason to celebrate!

Here is a card I made yesterday for a few challenges:

I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
The cue word 'Cheer' at CASology
And the theme of 'Food and/or Drink' at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge

The die is from My Favourite Things

Have a fun day.

Hi All,
Time for a new challenge at Time Out Challenges

It is our 'Inspired by Words' challenge and the words are:

You can use any of these words or the whole phrase to inspire you.
I went with the whole phrase and made this card:

I used some scrap brusho card and heat embossed the stamp onto this. Used some foam pads to give the card dimension.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the truly inspiring Izzy. I love visiting Izzy's blog and urge you to pop on over there.

Izzy and our DT have made some fabulous cards-check them out here and then get inky!

Inkspirational #148

Hi There,

Today at Inkspirational we have our Designer's choice challenge and it is our very talented teamie Yvonne who has chosen:

Christmas Cards using Neutral Colours only-black can be used for sentiments.

I went with kraft and white

This die cut snowflake was a pressie from crafting buddy and dear friend Nonni. I just love it and adding the wood dot in the centre just seems the perfect finishing touch. This card is very CAS but it is one of my favs I have made this year.
The sentiment is from STAMPlorations

Our DT have all made super cards-have a look here for plenty of inspiration.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Heidi. Check out her blog here-you will love what you see.

Time for you to get inky x

Inspired by All the Little Things/Muse take 2!

Hi There

I am popping in really quickly with another card inspired by the photo at Inspired by All the Little Things and Ardyth's card at Muse

Again the grey base on both the card and photo inspired. The glitter of the tree in both and the die cut in Ardyth's card. My 'peace' is actually covered in WOS but hard to see in the photo.

Love that embossed tree background and gave me the chance to use cream and white together-a combo I love in card making.

Have a fun day x
