What is happening!

Hi All

I hope your day is going well.

I am not too sure what is happening to me!
As you know I love stamps and ink only but today somehow I wanted to colour and then this led me to making a shaker.....which I have only made one before and I get in a real pickle trying to do them. However this turned out not so bad!

I coloured the Uniko flower using the colours from Just Us Girls and even had a go at adding detail with a white gel pen (a pressie for my Birthday from hubby) but have no idea how to do this so will be asking Nonni how to do this as she is the expert!

Then had to hunt for some acetate to make the shaker!

Oh well....way out of my comfort zone but a change and fun!

I will enter into:

Inkspirational-shake-girls when I saw this challenge, there was no way I was going to enter!!
Just Us Girls-colour week
Uniko-AG with twist of Bright and Happy-I went with the twist!

Have a fun day x

  2. I’m glad you had a change of heart and did make a shaker card. My experience is that practice makes better, so it gets less fiddly when you’ve got the hang of it. Beautiful coloring too. Thanks for joining our challenge at Inkspirational😊

  3. Doesn't look like you have trouble with shakers, Sandie! This is a fun one with the big flower!

  4. This turned out very well. I know what you mean about shaker cards, they look amazing but can be a real hassle to make as sequins and acetate just seem to create static so they cling together and cause problems. I really like how you have coloured that gerbera (I think that's the flower). I have that stamp so I might just copy your idea! xx

  10. Wow - this is fantastic. Love the shaker element, but it's the bold and beautiful daisy that caught my eye. Great work. Thanks for playing along with Just Us Girls, Deborah, GD.

  11. Me too, Sandie ... I make very few shakers (maybe two or three in total). Yours is fabulous ... the bright, vibrant daisy really pops against those fun shaker-y elements! Hugs, Anita :)
