Time Out #183 Reminder

 Hi All

Here to remind you that there is still time to join in the challenge at Time Out.

In both of these cards I have used the Ornamental stencil from our amazing sponsor Funky Fossil Designs. I also used the paste that you can purchase at Funky Fossil- light textured paste

So why is this different as it looks very much like a CAS card??

Well when I made this back in October I did make it for this challenge as I wanted to try something I hadn't before-using paste with a shaped stencil.

Goodness I found it quite easy with this paste. I just left it to dry over night and then the next morning I fussy cut it out and made these cards. Also quite different for me to use twine and fussy cut but it has been seen before but not the paste.

As I write this I realise I may be making more cards with paste-who knows-but I assure you when these were made, this was really different for me!! (nope I haven't done it again!!)

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Lisa. Lisa plays often at Time Out and we are honoured she joined us for this challenge-you can check out what she made on last weeks post-she tried a new technique and wow what is great. Plus pop on over to her blog here and she what a delight her cards are!

Check out what the Design Team have made here and then get crafting!

  1. I love the way your ornaments take center stage as they are hanging inside the red die cut. Looks fantastic and I love the glittery paste. Good for you in trying something "different" for you! I love it and you.

  2. It's so fun trying a new technique! This is so pretty!

  3. You are so early with making these cards, but...I loke the pure graphic and clean design! Hugs, Gerrina

  4. Had to be love instead of loke :)

  5. Oooh, white on white delicate loveliness, Sandie ... those baubles pop so wonderfully with the bright festive red! Way to go using texture paste ... like for you, it's new to me! Hugs, Anita :)
