Time Out #183 Reminder

 Hi All

Here to remind you that there is still time to join in the challenge at Time Out.

In both of these cards I have used the Ornamental stencil from our amazing sponsor Funky Fossil Designs. I also used the paste that you can purchase at Funky Fossil- light textured paste

So why is this different as it looks very much like a CAS card??

Well when I made this back in October I did make it for this challenge as I wanted to try something I hadn't before-using paste with a shaped stencil.

Goodness I found it quite easy with this paste. I just left it to dry over night and then the next morning I fussy cut it out and made these cards. Also quite different for me to use twine and fussy cut but it has been seen before but not the paste.

As I write this I realise I may be making more cards with paste-who knows-but I assure you when these were made, this was really different for me!! (nope I haven't done it again!!)

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Lisa. Lisa plays often at Time Out and we are honoured she joined us for this challenge-you can check out what she made on last weeks post-she tried a new technique and wow what is great. Plus pop on over to her blog here and she what a delight her cards are!

Check out what the Design Team have made here and then get crafting!

Enjoy!

  1. I love the way your ornaments take center stage as they are hanging inside the red die cut. Looks fantastic and I love the glittery paste. Good for you in trying something "different" for you! I love it and you.
