Addicted to Stamps and More #71

Its time for our 'Anything Goes' Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. This week I decided to use my London Cityscape dies to make a picture. We have a wall at home that is full of black and white pictures and photos of all the places we have visited. My hubby loved this card I made for my cousin Lynn and at the time I thought I decided I would make him a picture like it for Xmas and here it is:

I tried so hard to get a good photo of this and failed! This was the best of the bunch but I hope you get the idea! The picture is now hidden away awaiting for Santa to pick it up!

Pop over to our blog here and see the fabulous projects our DT have come up with to inspire you to play along.
If you need any extra encouragement we are this week being sponsored by Sami Stamps who are offering a $12 Gift voucher to our winner-check out the store......amazing!!

Have fun x

I just love these enamel dots and after seeing Brian's card here I was inspired to give this a go but using different coloured enamel dots. I had to play around with colours and sizes and it was a bit fiddly but I do love the end result.
Our DT have really pulled out the stops for our special challenge so please do pop over to our blog here and take a look.
Now it is time for you to help us celebrate and get stamping my CAS friends x

Inkspirational #43

Happy Saturday crafting chums,

At Inkspirational this week we have a 'White on White' challenge. And we are very pleased that for this challenge we have the super talented Pia joining us as our Guest Designer. Pia has supported Inkspirational right from the start and entered nearly all our challenges and won quite a few! I really love her cards and am amazed at how she can adapt to so many different card making styles from vintage to CAS. I urge you to pop by her blog and prepare to be blown away! Pia will be with us for a few challenges then the top pick of this challenge will have the chance to be our Guest Designer for our Christmas challenge on the 21st December!

And here is my CAS white on white card for you:

I think for White on White cards you need lots of texture and for my CAS style I thought a good way to do this would be to die cut some white felt I found in my stash. My much loved PTI linen impression plate seemed ideal to add a little more subtle texture. I had to play around with sentiments and finally opted for this one from Fresh Squeezed Stamps

We are still running our prize draw to win all these fabulous goodies-every time you enter you will be added to the draw!

Our DT have some great White on white projects to inspire you-take a look here.
Happy Stamping x

Hello and a sort of 'goodbye for a bit!'

Hello my crafting friends,

This is just a short post to say that I am going into hospital tomorrow until the 18th November. I will not be completely MIA as I have pre-scheduled all my DT posts for this time. Plus I am likely to have time to spend visiting blogs from my hospital bed but that will all depend on the internet connection. So if I do go MIA for a while you will know where I am!
I sure will miss crafting but will enjoy visiting your blogs as much as I can and storing up all your wonderful ideas. My Pinterst board is going to be full before I come home!

I hope you visit my blog over the next 2 weeks for my DT projects. I seem to have spent ages trying to get all these covered and have missed out on so many challenges I have wanted to do, however there are some fun challenges awaiting you from Addicted To Stamps and MoreAddicted to CASInkspirational and Nonni's Christmas Card Challenges)

Happy Stamping my friends and see you soon.

Xmas Fun!

Happy Saturday my friends,

I am here with some more Xmas fun. I have had another go at doing a grungy Xmas card using non traditional colours. I have combined stamps from Stamplorations and CAS-ual Fridays.

I used the sketch from the challenge at Stamplorations and added some embossing for the challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. I was actually inspired to make this card when I saw the new challenge 'Stamps and Sequins' at Stamplorations-I don't have any sequins but after making my card for Nonni's Xmas card 'stash and scraps' challenge, I decided to have another hunt through cards that have been given to me to see if I could find any sequins. I found 3 red sequins but they didn't go with my colour combo. After hunting again I found 1 pink heart sequin that I could use! So my card only has one little sequin but I hope this will be acceptable!!

Here is the sketch I based my card on:

Nonni's Christmas Card Challenge #2

Its time for Nonni's 2nd Christmas card challenge and this time we want you to:

'Use Your Stash and Scraps'

Time to hunt through that box of scraps and stash, that gets bigger every day! I decided to stay really true to the challenge and get out a box of cards that I keep-ones that people have given me that have not been hand made! I keep cards that I think have bits on them that I might be able to re-cycle one day! It rarely happens but Nonni's challenge gave me the opportunity to do it. I would urge you to do this as I had so much fun.

Everything (even the gems) are taken from other cards. It is only the sentiment that is not and this was used as it is from Stamplorations who are sponsoring this challenge.

I am hoping that this shows you that if you only have a few craft items you can still create!

Nonni's DT have come up with some great cards for this challenge, take a look here.  Then get out that box of stash and start cutting!!
You have until Santa visits on Christmas Eve to join in the fun. Have fun x
