Hello friends,
If you are looking for my Inkspirational post for today click here
This week at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown the challenge is a colour combo. Danielle went with the non-traditional combo of brown, yellow and white. Well I just was completely stumped. I have been trying to enter this challenge every week and this was the week I thought I would not make it! Danielle, you really did challenge me with this combo!!
However, I am not one who gives up easily and I played around and decided to case this card I made last November! I have used brown glitter card for the long die cut bauble. For the smaller die cut bauble I have inked it with versa magic white ink. Both of these are raised on foam pads and the final bauble was inked directly onto the yellow card stock. The card stock is a much brighter yellow IRL however I couldn't seem to capture this in my photo!. I used brown twine to hang the die cuts.
I am also going to enter this into the 'bingo' challenge at Addicted to stamps and More (using glitter, stamp and free-my free being the twine) and the monthly 'Christmas' Challenge at Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Challenge and Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Challenge 111-we don't want anymore snow!!
