Happy Monday to All,
A few weeks ago I was thrilled to be asked by Lesley to be the Featried Guest Designer at The Challenge. I was amazed to be asked and naturally said a very loud 'YES'.
Today it is a sketch challenge and here is the sketch:
This sketch did scare me a bit as it didn't seem to suit my CAS style however once I decided to use the Uniko sentiment as the bottom strip the idea for my card came to me quite quickly.
I silver embossed the Uniko butterfly on vellum and fussy cut it out. Then did some masking and stamping in gold and silver delicata ink to finish off my card
The DT have all created the most stunning cards. You can check them out here and then it is time to get inky and join in the fun!
I am sneaking my card in at the last minute to the 'Flight challenge at CASology-better late than never!
I will also enter this into the 'wings' challenge at Mixed Media Card Challenge-yes, it is CAS but I have embossing, vellum and dimension!
Wow! This is a stunning card Sandie! Love how that vellum butterfly peeps out over the edge of the card. Congrats on your well-deserved GD spot this week, and thanks also for playing along with us at CASology this week!
