Freshly Made Sketches

Hi All,

Today I have not been feeling so good but yesterday I had an idea for a card when I saw the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

Thinking the idea was already there and needed no brain power from me, I created this:

This glitter snow die from Uniko and this patterned paper have been on my craft desk since about November last year and finally I have used them!

The card didn't turn out how I had imagined and I am not so happy with but it is one Xmas card to add to my stash (think that is about 2 now)

I will be back tomorrow with a card for our new challenge at Inkspirational.

Enjoy the rest of your Friday x

  1. Don't you love when you can use those pieces hanging around your desk? This works perfectly! Love the snowflakes! Glad you shared it at FMS!

  2. So very sorry you were not feeling well. I hope you are better by now. This is a wonderful card. Love how you used those snowflakes.

  3. don't like this? I LOVE it. The patterned paper is mimicked perfectly with your die, stamping and enamel dots.

Sending lots of love to you. I hope this weekend is better. xx

  4. Wonderful your sweet snowflakes. Wishing you well too.

  5. What a perfect pattern paper Sandi, it compliments the whole design so well.

  6. I think this is a beautiful card. Love those snowflakes! (I'm okay with them as long as they aren't real.) I hope you're feeling better soon. my friend. xx

  7. It's so rare to see a card with DP made by you, bust here it's so right and it doesn't make your card look non CAS either. Perfect for a winter occasion or as a Christmas card.

  8. Such beautiful stamped and die cut snowflakes and lovely patterned paper strip, Sandie!!!! Love the enamel dots and the small sentiment at the top!!!! Lovely CAS look!!!!
    Hope your weekend is great!!!!

  9. Beautiful snowsflakes! And a beautiful paper strip! Good for you to not clean that from the table :) Hope you are feeling better soon! Enjoy the weekend!

  10. So festive, Sandie ... rich red, splendid shimmer, a scattering of shiny dots ... it's brilliant and so deliciously CAS! Do hope your weekend's been a better one! Hugs, Anita :)

  11. I love the sparkly snowflake and the pretty strip of dsp. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
