My card:
I used that snowflake stamp again but as sun rays. This time I stamped it in orange and yellow. I love this sentiment from Verve. This card was given to my hubby a while ago now. I was having a hard time and he really was a comfort to me.
Our Guest Designer Sue is joining us again this week. Her blog foleysfrined will be known by many of you and if not take some time out to visit it and you will be inspired by what you see.
Our DT have all created amazing cards, take a look here and then get inky!
Love how the colours heat up as the rays span out from the sunshine, Sandie ... that sentiment really is fabulous ... an enduring quote indeed! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was, "what a great sunburst!!" And come to find out it's a snowflake. Love versatility like that! Sweet card, Sandie. And you're right, that's a great sentiment. Hope all is well with you. Sending you good vibes!! Bev
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, wonder if I'll find a winter stamp in my stash that I can use as a sun? Don't think so, but I'll flip through to make sure. I really like how this 'sun' looks.
ReplyDeleteSweet sentiment...just love it with that sunshine!

Fabulous design Sandie. Love the ombre colours of your sunrays, and the sentiment with the sweet little sun attached. xx
ReplyDeleteLove your snow flake as a sunburst. Great way to stretch your stamps. I like how you have clustered your image and sentiment together, and those yellow sequins are such fun. Hope it is warm and sunny where you are this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet quote - looks fab against the splash of yellow!
ReplyDeleteThe sentiment looks great positioned over the sunny splash.

I love the quote that you used - especially that stylized font - and the sun is perfect and graphic - and complements the quote brilliantly! A wonderful card! Jill
