Olive and Tangerine!!

Hi There,

This week I haven't crafted much but today I found some mojo when some new goodies I had ordered yesterday from Uniko arrived this morning!

One of those goodies was the Gerbera Dies-I have had the stamps for ages and finally decided to buy the matching dies and made this card:

I heat embossed the gerbera stamp in white then die cut it before water colouring it in orange. I heat embossed the sentiment in tangerine embossing powder.

I used a left over frame from my stash box-it was left over from cutting a fishtail tag! I found some old 'olive' coloured card and just layered this behind my frame. Then went about arranging it, until I was happy with the result.

Enjoy your weekend x

  11. The soft colouring on the gerbera is such a lovely contrast to the background green, Sandie ... this is fabulous! I too got that die to go with the stamps ... though it's still waiting to meet the cuttlebug ... thanks for the inspiration! Hugs, Anita :)
