Snow in a heatwave!

Hi Crafty friends,

A quick one layer Christmas card today-I think I decided I needed some cooling snow as we are in the middle of a heatwave here-35 degrees today and with no air con! I am struggling to move and sleep seems a thing of the past!!

I made this card this morning when it was cooler:

The stamp set is from Uniko

For the layout I used the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch and the colours from 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
I will also enter this into Christmas Kickstart Challenge-snow is falling

Have a good day x

  3. Love how you used the colours for a contemporary Christmas card, Sandie ... this is so delicate and dainty ... fabulous! Stay cool ... our thermometre went off the scale the other day ... it only goes up to 50C!! Hugs, Anita :)

  4. Sandie, I wish I could blow a little cool air your way, but sadly, it's hotter than hot here, too!! We'll remember these sweltering days when we're freezing our backsides off this Winter!
So fun having this darling card in our CTS gallery this week - reminds me of embroidered linens... so pretty!

  8. Whimsical and fun! Love the elements all fluttering about :o) As for the 35 degrees, I'm hoping you mean Celsius -- I can't imagine 35 F being a heatwave!
