Inkspirational Challenge #30

Happy Saturday my friends and today I am here with my 'weekend warrior' post for this week's sketch challenge at Inkspirational.

Here is our sketch:

This week I have used a digital stamp from our fabulous sponsor  A Day for Daises. If you are our monthly winner you will receive a $12 gift voucher for their store.

Here is my card using their gorgeous umbrella image that I have coloured using SU markers and a gelly roll sparkle pen:

When I saw this digi and sketch I had this idea in mind and am quite pleased I could pull it off! I just added a few gems for interest and a PTI sentiment for represent the line on the sketch to divide the 2 sections.

I do like this sweet little card and am looking forward to seeing what you create using this fabulous CAS sketch.

You have until 6pm CMT to play along and don't forget to check out our blog here to see the amazing projects the rest of our DT posted earlier this week.

Happy Stamping!

  1. A lovely, feminine CAS design! I like how you turned the umbrella upside down, and the bold colors of the image and the randomly placed gems and flowers are great touches.

  2. LOVE the CAS take on the sketch, Sandie! The images are so fun and I LOVE the trio of bling! HUGS and have a great rest of the weekend! :)

  3. What a sweet card Sandie, the image is so pretty and you did a fine job of making a very CAS version of the sketch! Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend! {{{{hugs}}}} Ruth x

  4. You left the sweetest comment on my blog Sandie about only having 10 links for the challenge...the way you said it was so immensely respectful I had to come over to see you!!!! I LOVE your card. The 3 bling are just so perfectly placed. Who would have thought? I love the CAS. Now, for me, this would have been impossible (for someone who doesn't know what whitespace is!!! lol) HeArtfully yours friend, Samara

  5. Totally delightful, Sandie! What a cute design with the umbrella with flowers!

  6. Oh how sweet is that, my friend. Love that upturned umbrella. Hope you're enjoying summer in London!

  7. Very cute Sandie! I love that sentiment paired with the flowers and your well placed gems are darling!

  8. Hi Sandie, I love this totally different and original use of the sketch. All the elements are there but not in the way you'd expect. Pretty elements and great touch of sparkle. Marina
