Its time for our 'Make your Mark' challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. That means you need to use some kind of marker, pencil, paint etc on your project. This week I stepped outside the box and had a go at some 'real painting'...well I say 'real'!!
I decided I wanted to have a go at drawing my own flowers and then water colouring them. Now I really can't draw but this one afternoon for some bizarre reason I wanted to leave the stamps aside and have a go!
I looked to utube for inspiration and came across this video and just went right ahead and gave it a go!
These flowers were hand drawn first in pencil then I used water colour paints to create the background. I then used a mixture of paints and water colour pencils to colour the flowers. This was my first attempt and I really kinda like it. I am going to try this again when I learn to draw something else!! The sentiment is from Stamplorations
We are sponsored this week by Eureka Stamps. Check out their fab store here.
And don't forget to visit our main blog and see all the awesome projects our team have come up with.
I am going to enter this into the Iron Craft Challenge-inspiration 1-trends. My card is inspired by the water colour paints photo.
