Hello crafting friends,
How sketchy are you feeling today? I hope you are feeling sketchy in a good way as we have a really fun sketch for you at STAMPlorations. Here it is:
I struggled with our last sketch but this one I really liked and knew immediately that I wanted to mask off an area and do some flower stamping. I actually designed my stamping to match the button I have used. I loved the pretty design on the button:
I have used the STAMPlorations set Vignette-Eclectic Florals mixed in with the stamp sets Background Builders Vines and Flower Power #1 from Uniko Studios. The colour scheme I got from the latest 'Thinking of You Challenge at Uniko Studios.
The dark green really helped me out here as after I had made my button inspired strip, the button just blended into the stamps and I wanted it to shine. I tried lots of different ways to do this and finally decided to use the dark green flower punch to define it. And naturally I had to add a mix of enamel dots and gems to pick up on the colours!
This week we have the very talented Monika joining us as our Guest Designer. You can see what she and the rest of the DT have created to inspire you.
And don't forget we have prizes:
The sketch challenges are sponsored by our sister shop, All About Scrapping. The winner gets to pick 3 DIGITAL products from the shop — any combination of printable sheets, Photoshop templates, and digital paper packs. The winner will also be invited to be a Guest Designer in next month's sketch challenge.
A TWIST IN OUR CHALLENGES
