I have had these little pegs in my stash ever since I have been crafting and this is the first time I have used them. I also haven't used this text embossing folder for well over a year or the notelet stamp! I was really happy with how this turned out. It is all on foam pads so will not be good for mailing however I am sure it will come in use.
Our Guest Designer this week is Marika. She is a fabulous crafter and I urge you to check out her blog Me and Minime Crafting
Our DT have all come up with different ways to interpret this word-take a peek here
Love this, Sandie. That little note stamp is gorgeous and then the addition of the pegs and twine looks great xx
ReplyDeleteGreat design Sandie. I'm with Kylie, awesome little note stamp. Love the embossed script background too. Hoping to play along ... Loll xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandie! I love the embossed text on the back! And the little clothes peg is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThe touch of green against the neutrals looks great. Well done for using the peg - it looksperfect with the notebook paper and you've done a wonderful job of interpreting the challenge.
ReplyDeleteThis is great, Sandie! Love the script embossed panel and your clothespin is great. I've got a bunch of them I don't use often as well. Maybe I should! Maybe we should challenge each other to use our clothespins! LOL! :-)
ReplyDeleteI have that folder and it hasn't seen the light of day in a while so thanks for reminding me. I also found some of those pegs when I cleared out some drawers before Christmas. Great idea to combine them like this! :)
ReplyDeleteOh I must get out my embossing folders. This is fabulous! Love the sweet little clothespin...perfect extra touch.
ReplyDeleteFrom the wee peg, to the embossed paper, to the 'note', this is one inventive, charming, classy card. GORGEOUS! Striking in every way! Your warm, compassionate comments over our loss: so deeply touching! You are a gem; truly a blessing in my life!

Isn't it great to use something you haven't used for ages :)
ReplyDeleteLove how you have used the little green clothespin to "hold on" to the notes.
Brilliant, Sandie ... love how there's texture and interest galore ... and it's still so beautifully clean and crisp! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteToo cute!!!
ReplyDeleteJust a note to say fabulous!

Love the natural look of your card and the embossing is so pretty. I just got a new stamp set that has a little note pad on it and 'note' sentiment so I'm definitely going to have to join this challenge!!
