Inkspirational #73

A very Happy New Year from all the DT at Inkspirational.

We are starting the New Year with a new look-check it out here. This new look was designed by Kylie-check out her blog here if you fancy a new look for your blog or a watermark to start 2015!!

We are kicking off 2015 with our 'word prompt' challenge and this is our word:

There are so many ways to go with this and here is what I came up with:

I have had these little pegs in my stash ever since I have been crafting and this is the first time I have used them. I also haven't used this text embossing folder for well over a year or the notelet stamp! I was really happy with how this turned out. It is all on foam pads so will not be good for mailing however I am sure it will come in use.

Our Guest Designer this week is Marika. She is a fabulous crafter and I urge you to check out her blog Me and Minime Crafting
Our DT have all come up with different ways to interpret this word-take a peek here

  1. Love this, Sandie. That little note stamp is gorgeous and then the addition of the pegs and twine looks great xx

  2. Great design Sandie. I'm with Kylie, awesome little note stamp. Love the embossed script background too. Hoping to play along ... Loll xx

  3. Thanks Sandie! I love the embossed text on the back! And the little clothes peg is so cute.

  4. The touch of green against the neutrals looks great. Well done for using the peg - it looksperfect with the notebook paper and you've done a wonderful job of interpreting the challenge.

  5. This is great, Sandie! Love the script embossed panel and your clothespin is great. I've got a bunch of them I don't use often as well. Maybe I should! Maybe we should challenge each other to use our clothespins! LOL! :-)

  6. I have that folder and it hasn't seen the light of day in a while so thanks for reminding me. I also found some of those pegs when I cleared out some drawers before Christmas. Great idea to combine them like this! :)

  7. Oh I must get out my embossing folders. This is fabulous! Love the sweet little clothespin...perfect extra touch.

  8. From the wee peg, to the embossed paper, to the 'note', this is one inventive, charming, classy card. GORGEOUS! Striking in every way! Your warm, compassionate comments over our loss: so deeply touching! You are a gem; truly a blessing in my life!

  9. So great Sandie... from the handwriting embossing to the sentiment to the note page... perfect for the word prompt!
    - Shauna

  10. Isn't it great to use something you haven't used for ages :)
Love how you have used the little green clothespin to "hold on" to the notes.

  11. Brilliant, Sandie ... love how there's texture and interest galore ... and it's still so beautifully clean and crisp! Anita :)

  12. The little peg is a great way to add a bit of color to a otherwise neutral design. Clever take on the theme, a card fit for any occasion!

  13. Great design! Love the notelet stamp and the embossing adss so much warnth on the card! Hugs, Gerrina

  14. I love that embossing paper handwriting looks so fit with the stamping image
    is it hero arts Sandie
looks so sweet simple and adorable
    love the color combo too...
    hope you are well
    big hugs,

  15. Love the natural look of your card and the embossing is so pretty. I just got a new stamp set that has a little note pad on it and 'note' sentiment so I'm definitely going to have to join this challenge!!
