Inkspirational #82

Hi All

Our challenge this week at Inkspirational has been chosen by our very own team mate Shauna.  Shauna has challenged us to use at least 3 of the following when creating our cards:

Distressing
Flowers
Embossing
Pearls.

Here is what I came up with:

I have gone with:
Distressing the edges of my centre card stock have been cut with a distressing tool and then sponged with distress ink

Embossing-I have used my linen embossing folder on the centre card stock

Flowers-this was the hardest part of this card as I knew I wanted to make this for my Uncle. I decided to hunt through my stamps until I found a flower I could use that didn't make the card feminine in any way. I think I made this challenge more challenging than it needed to be but I was not going to give up on my idea! Eventually I found a grunge washi tape stamp by STAMPlorations that has flowers amongst leaves and text-I did it!

Now it is your turn. I am looking forward to seeing what you create.

 Have fun x

  6. Yes, you probably did this a lot more complicated than what you needed, but hooray for being able to make it masculine and vintage and at the same time keeping it CAS!! It's something I'm sure I wouldn't be able to pull off.
