Hello there,
Over the last few days there have been some really inspiring challenges that I have wanted to join in and then today up pops the latest challenge from CASology and I had a light bulb moment...and combined 3 of these challenges.
Here is my card:
Did you know the 'Science of Dreams' is called 'Oneirology'? When I saw the 'Science' challenge at CASology I googled 'types of sciences' and a huge list came up. On the list was the 'Science of Dreams'.
Light bulb moment...combine the 'dream' challenge at Addicted to CAS with CASology plus the 'word play' challenge at AAA cards. I love cards that focus on the sentiment so the AAA challenge was on my list.
I do love this sentiment. It is an old Verve sentiment and I just did some masking so I could emphasis the 'dream' part of it. Added a few hearts from Uniko and linen embossed to give me a one layer CAS card.
I will also enter this into the Geek Chic challenge at The City Crafter
Have a dreamy day x

ReplyDeleteSandie, I really love your take on my Code Word, focusing on a sentiment makes it so perfectly clean. And this is a smart move about the science. I would like to play at CASology, but I do not own a single science related stamp, maybe I'll draw something ;) Thank you very much for joining us at ATCAS
ReplyDeleteWell, aren't you clever!! Such a fabulous idea, would never have thought of this one. Really lovely sentiment too. Best start thinking about this challenge myself.....
ReplyDeleteBrilliant combo of the challenges, Sandie! I love how you used the black and red here - it provides great balance - and the touch of embossing on the background is lovely! Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteYes a science indeed, sometimes I need someone to explain the meaning of my dreams! (or maybe not! )
ReplyDeleteGreat thinking and a fab card!
Thanks for joining Casology!

Wow--so many challenges combined into a stunning CAS card. This is not easy to do. I did not know about the science of dreams--thanks for the fun fact--and I love how you did the inking of your sentiment and added those hearts.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this card...just perfect!
ReplyDeleteOh you used the linen embossing folder from PTI too - smart way to bring texture without de-CASing :) Great card, thanks so much for joining us at AAA Cards!
