A Friday make

A happy Friday to you all,

I have a card today inspired by a few challenges I have wanted to play along with this week. Yesterday I got the chance to have some crafty time.

Here is the card:

I decided I wanted to challenge myself again to enter the ColourQ Challenge-I had no idea how I was going to get the blue and the coral onto my card but came up with colouring my butterfly blue and my pearls coral using copics. Another week that I have made, what to me are really hard colours, work...yes I am pleased with myself!!

That gold strip is actually adhesive tape that I picked up from a shop in Covent Garden-a little find! The butterfly is a new one from Concord and 9th

The layout is from the latest sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

I had the idea to use the butterfly from the adorable photo at Addicted to Stamps and More-check it out below.

I will also enter this into the 'metallics' challenge at Uniko-the sentient is actually a Uniko one.

  6. Sandie, a swoon-inducing gem! The colours are fantastic, but it's your butterfly, pretty in blue and coral, that captures my heart! That Concord and 9th die is headed my way; waiting for an order to arrive...

  7. I love the subtleness of this card. Nothing over-the-top, but lots of interesting textures, colors, and levels. Pearly and glittery without those elements overpowering your design. I'd say you've rocked this card! It's just fantastic. Have a great weekend!!! Bev
