I do struggle with colour challenges but I ended up with a card I really do like:
Here is our photo:
I lightly stamped the flower in blue on to the card. I also used the same colour blue as my base card. I then embossed it on vellum in pink and coloured the back side in green. To finish off I added a baby pink enamel dot in the centre of the card.
My card is 'Clean and Simple' but you can create your card in any style or combine styles.
Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very creative Wendy.. Take a look here at what Wendy and the DT have created to inspire you

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty mother's day card. Love that bold center flower and how you have lightly stamped it on your card base as well. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteI know, I struggle with them too. I've done a lot of practicing, and I'm finding that the easiest way is: the more colors the cleaner the look. Your style is already very clean, I need to practice more on that too. You did so well with this card!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty , I love the pop of color!
ReplyDeleteAnother CASilicious delight, Sandie; you've captured the challenged colours beautifully! So thrilled to see your artistry in the ATSM gallery!
