Hi All
I am back with another Christmas card.
Today I have a card inspired by the 'Purple and Gold' at Less is More and the peace challenge at One Layer Simplicity Challenge plus the sketch at Sovushka Slavia
I think it works as a wreath in gold...next time I will choose green to give it a more traditional feel.
I would like to say a goodbye to Chrissie at LIM for giving us so many wonderful challenges, you will be missed. I am sure Sarah and the team will take this challenge over in style and make Chrissie very proud.
Have a fun day x
Brilliant way to combine purple and gold. You are really rocking that burst image. I love it more every time I see it.
ReplyDeleteWow, that Burst stamp looks amazing! I follow The Ton on Instagram and I like everything I see... better sit on my hands for a while!! I love the way the image and sentiment work so well in our purple and gold challenge colours, really simple and classy. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteThat burst/wreath stamp was a great find! Once inked up it becomes a favorite, I'm sure I'll see you use this one more in the time to come. You're great at using your stash in different ways.
ReplyDeleteThis wreath worked so well for your card. It's a lovely Christmas card. The gold is so pretty beneath the purple 'peace.' I really like this one, Sandie. Wonderful card. Bev

ReplyDeleteHi Sandie, the gold embossing is so pretty and delicate and I love the beautiful sentiment. Fabulous use of the colours (which had me stumped). I am well thank you, I hope you and your family are all well. Thank you for visiting my blog and for your lovely comment. Have a great weekend! xx

DeleteVery inspired Sandie, I would never had seen this as a wreath but it totally works, well done! Very fun card and this color combo I must try!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Thanks from Sovushka Slavia!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting use of the sketch and a beautiful card! Thanks from Sovushka Slavia for participation!
ReplyDeleteSandie, what a beautiful card! That burst stamp works perfectly as a wreath, but I saw it as a golden halo around earth, given the sentiment you chose...as if earth is the hole surrounded by golden starlight. So wonderful! Thanks for sharing it with the OLS Challenge!
