Time Out #71

Hi There,

Happy Thanksgiving to all our crafty American friends-have a wonderful day.

Time for our theme challenge at Time Out .

Our theme is:

Christmas with the optional twist of using glitter and/or shimmer.

I went with the twist and included both glitter and shimmer:


The glitter is sticky tape and the bauble is die cut from a sheet of brusho card I made a while ago. I used Christmas-purple, red and gold-brusho colours and added some gold shimmer to it. The design of this card was inspired by Sarah of Funky Fossil Designs

Our sponsors for this challenge are Uniko. The sentiment I have used here is a Uniko stamp. I simply stamped it with gold delicata ink (love that ink!)

Less is More-vintage-this ornament is from a vintage set and although it has sparkle it is still a very CAS design.

    Yes it is still CAS, I love the layout! Wonderful colours too and that's a great ornament, I think I haven't seen you use it before. Super glittery too! Love it!

    Love this Sandie!!! The ornament is shaded beautifully, and I love the added shimmer. All that glitter in the background is fantastic! Today, on Thanksgiving here in the US, know that I am so thankful that our paths crossed. You are on my list of things/people to be thankful for. xx

    Compared to your usual style this isn't very CAS, but if it was made my myself I'd say it was quite CAS:) beautiful sparkle and love the shading of the color of the bauble.
