WWC205 Donna's 'All About Holidays' Challenge

Hi All

This is my last challenge as Guest Designer for Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.
I have been joining the team all of January and had a lot of fun.
I hope I was able to inspire you.

This week we are all about 'Holidays' and I went with Christmas-never too early to start!

And my card:

I used the now retired Verve Stamps and just heat embossed the sentiment onto a panel. I also heat embossed the dove. I added a rustic look by distressing the edges of the panels. This was a little nod to Julee who was the designer and owner of Verve stamps-she makes the most beautiful cards with layers, ribbons etc and often adds a rustic feel to her cards....so Julee this was my CAS nod to you-and thanks for inspiring me!

Time to pop over to Watercooler Wednesday and have a look at all the inspiration from the team.

Thank you Heidi and all the team for inviting me to design with you in January. It has been a lot of fun x

  2. I love Kraft. It works with any kind of color. This red and white combo gives an additional festive feel. Nice touch distressing the edges.

  4. Such a lovely warm, rustic feel with the kraft and red, Sandie ... love how you made the dove crisp and white ... such great imagery and contrast! You've been a brilliant GD at WCW this month ... as always, so inspiring! Hugs, Anita :)

  5. Sandie, this is such a lovely card. Actually all the cards with which you've graced our challenge as Guest Designer have been outstanding. I haven't been around as much this month, but I have definitely been aware of your gorgeous creations. You show the world just how special clean and simple designs can be. Thank you for being part of our Challenge this month. I hope you'll join us as a participant again and, perhaps, again as Guest Designer. :)
