Time Out #158

Hi All

We have a special challenge at Time Out.

The challenge is:

Why special?

Because today is 'Epilepsy Awareness Day' and we want to spread the word and help people understand this condition more. Why purple? Because a Purple Ribbon is the symbol for Epilepsy. To find out more pop on over to Time Out

We just want to see a little or a lot of purple!

We have an optional twist of friendship-wouldn't it be nice to send a card to a friend 'just because'!

And I created this card:

Our sponsor for this challenge is CAS-ual Fridays and the sentiment comes from an older set called 'Be' but you can find similar sentiments in the Encouragement and Support on their site.

The image is No Space for Dreams from Visible Images-I chose this image as I think it is a good representation of how I can feel when having a few of the seizure types I have.....I look fine from the front but inside my brain feels like it is falling apart!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Kavya. Kavya has just returned from card making after 8 years and the first card she made won at Time Out. Her style is amazing and if you haven't visited he blog please pop over to Handmade by Kavya-you will come back a fan...like me!

This challenge is close to my heart as I am Epileptic and am aware of all the misunderstanding around it.

If you want to know more, click here-My Story-you can see this on the tab above or you can skip all the story and just look at the images-they say it all!

Or just get that purple out and add lots or a little to your card.

Can't wait to see those cards!

Enjoy!

I will enter this into:

Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful-to encourage and support us all.
